I went in here to find out more about the railroad leading up to Bodie and the Mono Craters but the young lady did not want to come in without a mask. I am so tired of the mask thing so I went out side to look at their free stuff. She came out and offered me a mask. I was about to say "no" but she was so nice, I just put it on and came in. I'm glad I did. We had a couple of real long talks about the local geology and that railroad. We also went into a local bird guide to help me ID a bird I photographed....

You can get interesting info on Mo-No lake (You totally look at it the whole way here!) and even help support it. Entrance, parking, restroom, and counter are all accessible.
