It’s unfortunate, I stayed in Lee Vining, wanted something different, different I got. I went to buy something for dinner. I first looked for bread. 10 loads and only the kinds I didn’t want. Then I looked for steak, only one steak that was any good, $26.99 and it was small, small enough I probably wouldn’t have filled up. Then I thought, okay a salad, only two, but dressing provide was either thousand island or French. No Italian, no ranch, no blue cheese, just out of everything. Nothing looked fresh. I thought cookies. $5.95. I thought they have hamburger buns, no hamburger. I though frozen dinner, none in stock. I walked through the store 3 times while the employee was on the phone talking and laughing loudly. as I began to leave he offered to help, but said they were low on stock and he was sorry. I could have eaten but I could not have made a meal out of anything there. Luckily I brought food with me, but I was looking for something better. I will be much more prepared next visit and stop in bishop before coming...

We were famished and decided to pop into the Lee Vining market before we headed back to June Lake for snacks and ended up buying a wonderful array of dishes to feast on for the evening..

Pop in this market. It will...

I totally understand the out-of-the way-ness here, but most items were extremely overpriced. Many were 3x the price of normal items. I think its greed. When I pointed out why I didnt buy this guys quart of cream instead of the little ones I had to show him that the big ones were one day from being out of date. Sigh... One banana was already rotten inside and the green one LMAO is still green and unedible a week later. He might need a new supplier! Better yet, go shop himself. Tons of people there to buy at a more fair price. Better than nothing. Thats all I...
