On our way to Yosemite via Tioga Pass, we were desperate for a great cup of coffee, and Latte Da delivered beyond all expectations. This place isn't just a coffee shop; it's a destination. From the moment you pull off the highway, you can tell it's special. The coffee itself is top-tier. I had an oat milk latte that was perfectly crafted—rich, smooth, and not a hint of bitterness. My partner's Americano was bold and flavorful, clearly made with high-quality beans. But the real surprise was the food! The breakfast burrito was a revelation: perfectly toasted, packed with fresh ingredients, and the perfect fuel for a day of hiking. The absolute best part, though, is their garden patio. Forget sitting in your car; this is a peaceful, beautiful little sanctuary with gorgeous flowers and a relaxed vibe. It was the perfect place to stretch our legs and savor our breakfast. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, managing a busy morning rush with smiles. Don't even think about getting your coffee from a gas station. Latte Da is an essential part of the Eastern Sierra experience. We'll be planning our future road trips to make sure we...

A wonderful place for breakfast, and sandwiches to take with you on a hike. We had breakfast in their wonderful flowerful garden. The breakfast pastries (a blueberry muffin and a cherry coffeecake) were delicious, but I don't think they were made fresh that morning. Still very good, and quite big. A chocolate chip cookie (for afternoon snack) was large, very nice, but could use a bit more chocolate (you can never have enough chocolate). The best thing were the sandwiches that we took with us for our hike. It is nice to have a place that will make fresh sandwiches for you in the early morning. My wife had a "vegan green swallow" - house baked focaccia with pesto, hummus, veggies, avocado. She loved it. I had a "Hammonds", with egg, ham, cheddar and jack cheese, on that same wonderful focaccia. Real ham, not pre sliced store grocery store sliced ham....

There is nothing better than hot coffee and a delicious (and healthy breakfast) after getting up early and shooting sunrise photos. Well...even if you slept in!

If you are in Lee Vining, you can’t miss out on Latte Da Coffee. Organic coffee and smoothies. Baked goods including some gluten free.) Breakfast and Lunch Sandwhiches.

I had a vegan sandwich with veggies, greens , home made hummus and jalapeños. They even had a gluten free bread that was good. But they also have non vegan and gluten filled options as well 😎.

Super friendly staff. The coffee was good. Dark roast but still tasted the...
