Center Memorial Park — Attraction in Manchester

Sometimes there are cool events, fairs, live music, food trucks etc. It's next to the library and has lots of places to eat nearby so it can be a nice place ti grab a book with the kids and a bite to eat, bring a blanket and sit under the tree and have a picnic - but, it is also near a homeless shelter and there is a methadone clinic within walking distance so there are also a lot of homeless people and addicts sitting in the walls, the steps, asking for money. It makes me very uncomfortable since I am a petite young woman with 2 little kids and I have stopped bringing my kids there after a couple scary experiences.
