Decided to give this place a try today being that social media raves about how good it is! That was not the case for me it was quite disappointing! I walked in and no one greeted me a few minutes later the chunky girl taking the orders comes out and just looks at me doesn’t even say anything so I say “hi” and very dry she responded back the same thing! Definitely needs more people skills! I asked what was the most popular taco empanada she said the chicken, I decided to try it at $5 and change which I thought was a ridiculous price for an empanada but I was curious so I paid. I can tell you it was definitely stuffed with meat but it lacked flavor and crunch for me, and oddly it was lukewarm which was annoying because she knew I was waiting! The birria tacos were a complete disappointment lacked flavor even with the onions and cilantro I drowned them with the two limes they gave me and dipped them in the broth they also give which was disgusting, tasted like grease absolutely no flavor! I won’t be coming back or recommending this place I’ll stick to my favorite tacos in Meriden, Mr. Taco no birria tacos...
