We love visiting Fleet Farm, but this location has a manager with a bad attitude. We get many items we need for our home, including items stores like Walmart typically don't carry.
I used to go here for pet food, but two visits ago, I had Purina coupons and the cashier didn't know how to enter them. She read the fine print on the back, and I tried to be helpful and paraphrase it for her so we could move things along for the people behind me in line, but she insisted on reading it herself, then spoke to the manager about what it all meant.
I had five coupons of three varieties, and the back of the coupons state that only four like coupons may be used at a time. A “Like Coupon” is the EXACT same coupon from the same source, same value, same product, same expiration date, etc. I had three for large bags of dog food, one for a small bag, and one for cat litter, so I should’ve been able to use all five.
The manager decided it meant I could only use four of the coupons because they were all from the same company, and when I questioned her, she said this was how Fleet Farm defined a Like Coupon - which I later found out isn’t true. I decided I would have my daughter buy the fifth item on a separate order. The manager was fine with this, but then the cashier remembered it said "per household per day," so she called the manager again who changed her mind and said my daughter couldn't purchase the fifth item because she lived with me. I should note the manager was rude and had a poor attitude throughout the entire ordeal, which is why I wasn't happy about it.
I bought my dog food, left the cat litter, and we went to Petco where the manager told me I could use all of my coupons regardless of how many I had. She was super friendly, so I get all my pet food there from now on.
My family actually didn't return to this Fleet Farm for quite awhile because of my interaction with...
Read moreNever have I had to deal with more ignorant people. I have filled my gas cans at this store for years. Today I go in and fill my car and then attempt to fill my gas can. The attendant turned off the pump and told me I could not fill my gas can because it's not a RED gas can that's says gasoline on the side. I have a 5.5 gallon fast fuel racing can that IS a gas can. She said because it's not red that I am unable to fill it due to federal regulations. The sticker on my can has come off over time but there is print on the can the says " This can is intended for use and transportation of fuel" that I was trying to show her. She refused to read it and called her manager to come out. After the manager came out she told me the exact same thing until I finally got her to read the print on the jug. Only after arguing with me for several minutes did she apologize. At this point I was so upset I decided to take my GAS CAN (that is not red) and fill it at another station. I suggest if you guys are going to put your employees in that position to refuse a customer gasoline then you should train them that not all gas cans are red and say gasoline...
Read moreWas in today to make a return. Tracy was at the desk and when I walked up, she didn’t even look at me from around the computer. She asked what she could do. I held up my bag and said I need to return my item. She said nothing! Then after a few she asked again what I wanted, and I said I need to return THIS! She whipped around the desk, ripped the bag from my hand and turned it upside down on the counter. When she couldn’t find the receipt I walked over and took it out of the bag and said “if you just relax and actually look you would have found it” she didn’t say another word the whole time she did the return until she said “you want the $ on your card”. As I was running my card another employee came up to the counter and BAM Tracy’s whole demeanor changed completely opposite! She then wished me a great day, as I replied “yeah you’ve been LOVELY” seems to me Tracy could use to retire! She’s nasty, unpleasant and rude! I’d stick her in back away from customers with the...
