I would rather have the choice of a MUCH LOWER RATING! My mom and I have been faithful, weekly customers at Four Seasons for many years. Today (sat 1/5/19 for lunch) has permanently ended our visits to Four Seasonsl for good!! We entered and requested a booth because my mom lives with severe pain in her lower back & legs on a daily basis. The young waitress was very polite in telling us that there were none available. We asked to sit in the 2nd dining room but were told it was closed. Then the nasty hostess intervened in our conversation of trying to figure out if my mom could handle sitting on a hard chair. She raised her voice and spurted out, NO WE HAVE NO BOOTHS OPEN and WILL NOT SEAT YOU IN THE BACK DINING ROOM. My mom couldn't hear her, but I heard her loud and clear! The rude, bad tempered, very unfriendly hostess said, you DONT have a permanent booth here! My mom said can't website's the back because of my pain level in a hard chair. The hostess raised her voice even louder and said, WELL that's too bad. You don't get to reserve a permanent booth here! I told Mom that we were leaving. The hostess continued to rant and rave at us. I finally have enough of her unprofessionalism over the years!!! Her awful demeanor, the filthy bathrooms, having to seat ourselves 1/2 of our visits while the "hostess yaps around the corner and ignores the customers & Very seldom open back dining room has ended our business! Interestingly enough their ( most likely family affiliate Fork & Knife Restaurant) has NEVER treated us that way! They have a wonderful young hostess that is ALWAYS polite, professional and welcomes her customers ASAP "Always with a smile" and prompt service. They were just as busy and STILL good servers too. FYI: Fork and Knife cleans their bathrooms!). I highly suggest that 4 Seasons ends that witchy woman's job IMMEDIATELY). Of course being a relative of Benny will save her behind. Even after she went back to Greece for a couple of mths, her 1/2 acceptable mood was extremely short lived. Benny, your customers will grow sick of her, the over stressed & the over worked staff will at some point bring you down. So do yourself a favor and AT LEAST kick her...
Read moreI used to eat here often. The crew that worked thursday may 16th 2024 was horrible. We asked for one of the round booths as I have a rather large family. The waitress sat us down at the table without even wiping it off from the last guest first. We had to wait 20 minutes in an almost empty restaurant and had to call her over to order our food including a combo appetizer. The waitress was talking on her phone through earbuds the whole time. She brought us the appetizer, no spare plates. Not to mention we never had silverware. When receiving our food we had to ask for silverware before she walked away. She grabbed untouched silverware but from dirty tables. My shrimp fettucini alfredo (special order) was literally plain noodles with 4 shrimp. I ate two bites and waited for the waitress to come back...she didnt. My fiance never recieved her side that were that we ordered. 30 minutes later after my kids finished eating we had to get up and ask for a check. 10 minutes later after chit chatting with her buddies behind the counter ( there were only 3 other tables eating) she brings the check. We mention the sides. Her response was "oh yeah, you did order sides" no apologies. The service here has gotten so horrible. The floor was filthy food all over at several tables and several dirty tables. I dont know what happened to the crew from a few months ago. For such a slow day that place should have been spotless. If i speak to the owner ( great fellow hes usually there thatbday he wasnt) I will be more than willing to help him hire some new people. Get it together, that crew will run your business to...
Read moreWent there today for lunch with a friend while my puppy was at the groomers. We have never had a bad meal or service there, until today. Ended up sending my food back because of the way it was made. Had the taco salad. The meat had no flavor, was dry and looked old. Brought the mistake up to the waitress, she took it back for the cooks to fix it. It came back still not right and had even less meat on it than the first time. My friend for her meal was over charged on her side order and when it was brought to their attention the waitresses got snippy and said that on there night time menu it was the price that was charged. When we showed them our menu they did correct it but we're not nice about it. Never apologized for all the inconvenience. Lost my appetite so I brought my food home to eat. When putting on the sour cream I found a bug in the sour cream, called Four Seasons right a way, asked for the owner, was told he was gone, then asked for the manager. Explained what I found and what happened at the restaurant, her comment to me is what am I supposed to do about it. Never apologized or offer to make it right. She also, said that there was no way there could be a bug in the sour cream, I even said to her do you want me to drive back to Manitowoc to show them, she hung up on me. It is going to be a long time before we eat there again. There are other restaurants in Manitowoc that we like also, we try and rotate the different resturants to support local businesses, but apparently too them our business means nothing to them.
