I don't know what happened to this place, but it has gone horribly downhill. Have been eating here for years, service was always good and food was great, but not anymore. Went in on a Tuesday night with my wife and 2 friends. After being seated we waited for 10 minutes for a young rude waitress, who acted like it was a chore to do her job, to take our drink order. Another 10 minute wait for drinks that get dropped off and we end up with a dirty glass. Had to wait many more minutes before the waitress finally returned to get that straightened out and we still had to request to be able to make our food order. 3 of us ordered sushi, my wife ordered a noodle dish. 20 more minutes go by, our drinks are finished and we have to chase the waitress down to get another round and some waters. After 45 minutes they bring my wife's noodle dish, which was cold, but nothing else. After another half hour, with no one checking on our table, we have finally had enough. My friend goes up to the counter and is told they are still preppinng the rest of the food. No apology, no offer to make things better. My wife is finished with her dish by now and we decide to leave. I go up to the counter to tell them we are leaving...again no apology for the wait that has been almost 2 hours at this point, and no offer to make up for the lack of service or food. In fact they were rude and dismissive when I told them I'd been a loyal customer for many years and was very disappointed. To top it all off, a couple hours after we get home, my wife gets extremely ill...I won't go into details. The "service" was by a young rude obviously unwilling worker, the place was dirty, with several tables not wiped or clean, what food we got was served cold and likely made my wife sick, and no apology for the wait or lack of food when we made a legit complaint after 2 hours of wait time. Will not be eating here again, and am considering making a health...

Came here for the Sushi and the short answer is it is okay. It's a small little restaurant and you would definitely miss if you weren't looking for it. But easy parking and we didn't need to make reservations.

We were seated right away and our server took our drink order. Instead of a traditional sushi restaurant, their focus seems to be more on Thai food. To just try the basics, we ordered a seaweed salad, some nigiri sushi and a roll.

The timing wasn't the best. The seaweed salad didn't come out until well after the sushi was brought to the table. Pretty standard for a seaweed salad although could have used some sesame seeds. I think they might have, but so sparse you can barely tell.

We ordered Tuna, Yellowtail and Salmon for the nigiri; unfortunately, they were out of Yellowtail. The tuna was just average and nothing special. The salmon seemed almost partially frozen. It wasn't... but was super cold/chilled as if it had just thawed out. It was fair salmon.

For the roll, we got the Philadelphia Roll; they put tuna along with salmon in theirs and we asked to hold the tuna which they did. The rolls seemed to be overwhelmed with cream cheese so it was hard to taste the quality of the salmon but it seemed to be the same quality of the salmon nigiri we ate.

For sushi, it's pretty average. There are some incredible sushi restaurants in Austin and even a few above average in Bee Cave so we were hoping we were going to get lucky but this sushi was just average. We will of course go back to try the Thai food at some point but not sure about going back here...

This place use to be an absolute gem! A place we faithfully ate at 1 to 2 times a week. But since Kylie left, this place is run horribly. Because it was one of our favorites, we have given it way more passes than we should have. We will officially not be dinning at this place any longer. I hope management reads this message and considers seriously training the new team and evaluating the change in food consistency with portions. There are absolutely no checks and balances anymore. The front of the house staff takes 5 people to 1 Kylie not to mention the new team is rude and very unprofessional. I would find another place to dine unless you like being ignored and wait for a good hour and a half on a slow day to get your food. Just unacceptable. If I was the owner, I would do every thing in my power to get the person who ran your restaurant passionately and cared deeply for your business and your customers. We won’t be retuning until we hear of staff improvement. The team you have currently is unacceptable. Before her departure my review would have been all 5 stars. Lastly- I do not know Kylie on a personal level, only as a customer at your restaurant. Our entire family have been long time customers.

Update 6/ 2025- they listened and brought back the star!! Place is back to normal!! Kylie is the glue!! So thankful this...

I was craving pad Thai, so I stopped here on my way through town (I live 30 minutes away). It's a small restaurant, but was fairly busy on a Saturday night. I got a to-go order. I ordered the chicken satay and chicken pad Thai. When I got home, I wasn't feeling well and waited a while to eat. I was pleasantly surprised that the pad Thai was wrapped in foil and was still STEAMING hot 2 hours later! I really liked that the noodles were cut smaller, too. The slice of lime and the sprouts were outside of the foil which kept them from getting soggy. I ordered extra peanuts, but don't think I got those. The satay was good, but the chicken pieces were a little small. There were 5 skewers in the order (I had eaten 2 when I thought to take a photo). The peanut sauce that came with them was really good, though. I would definitely go back to this place.

The service here is great, but the food is just fine. We didn't order any sushi, so I can't speak to that portion of the menu. I got the Taste of Ginger with chicken and pork (the chicken was good, pork was a bit tough). It was gingery, but didn't really wow me. My partner got the charcoal pork, which was good, but the dish overall was plain- just the pork over vermicelli with a wedge of lettuce with a side of sweet and sour sauce. We also got the Shrimp in the Blanket, which was just a shrimp wrapped in a wonton wrapper and fried-- no ground pork as the description suggests. The shrimp was good, but did wonder where the pork went.
