FYI : Private beach! This beach has pros and cons. Pros- Great little snack shack grill, clean bathrooms, Tiki huts and playgrounds for children. Cons: Unless you OWN property on Marco, and can prove this with multiple tax receipts, utility records, it's almost impossible to get a yearly pass. It was embarrassing when I showed up with a member (with their membership pass) and I was questioned why I was there...umm to go to the beach with my friend....anyway, the Keepers of the guard gate always have an attitude and are less than inviting. It's more like Fort Knox. It's pretty sad. It seems like a "Good ole boys club" rather than a welcoming place for residents. PS- YOU WILL BE LOCKED IN THE PARKING LOT IF YOU NOT GONE BEFORE 2 MINUTES OF...

I am not a member, but my godmother's parents were members for many years. I was searching for the memorial tree of Mrs. Sanford Kay and asked the guard if there was a map of the memorial trees. I have never been so rudely treated in Marco and hardly elsewhere. This man was terribly rude and heartless. I just wanted to see the memorial tree and make sure the placard was not blown away by the hurricane. I wanted to take a photo of the tree for my godmother. Apparently you cannot view memorial trees of members unless you are yourself a member. Also, they have no map or record of the trees, so anyone who paid for a memorial would do well to see if their placard is still there. I saw several missing placards and Hurricane Irma was over...

Our family has lived in Marco Island for over 50 years. We LOVE residents beach. There is only ONE issue that is reoccurring and unnecessary. Dan at the front gate is very rude. When our family was exiting, we stopped to show our residents card, didn't say a word, but Dan took that as an insult for some reason and began to lecture us. As Dan was carrying on, another family saw what was going on and said he did the same thing to them recently as well. I want to be clear that Residents Beach, the food hut and all other people who work there are extremely nice but Dan is not a good fit for this environment. Completely unnecessary and Dan needs to be taught a lesson on customer service and being...

🇺🇸 Resident’s Beach – Where the Sunset Meets Style Still one of the best sunset spots in all of Florida—no doubt. Wide, powdery white sands. Peaceful. Pristine. But the real magic? That fiery orange sun melting into the Gulf with silhouettes on the shore. Every time we come back, it never disappoints. This time, we brought a cold, crisp bottle of Veuve Clicquot to toast the moment—because it’s not always a Corona beach… sometimes, it’s a Clicquot beach. And when it is, you make it count. 🍾🌅 If you have access, plan it around sunset, sit back, and just take it in. A true local treasure—and a personal favorite.

Gorgeous large beach. Only giving it a 4 as its so sad this very large stretch of beach is all private. It is definitely big enough to open it to the public. I dislike the fact that so many ocean beaches are not accessible to all. I understand it- but no one owns the ocean but the access to them are private. Thank you to the extremely lovely couple who invited us for the afternoon.
