Wow - Marco Island Jet Ski Tours and Rentals — Attraction in Marco Island

I did a lot of research in trying to decide which rental company to book with. When I saw that the legendary Captain Ron had decided to joins forces with the Wow brothers now, I went with Wow. My first contact was with Brad on the phone and he answered all my questions. We even got into the best time of day to go for the day I was looking at. It is better to go during high tide than low tide. Brad took my reservation info. We were all born before 1986 so we didn't have to do the extra step that Florida requires of wave runner operators who are younger. Clear directions brought us to the Goodland Marina area. We met Ryan, Brad's brother who set us up with waters and life jackets. We hopped on the wave runners on the boat trailer, and Ryan gave us the first safety briefing and instructions. Then he drove us to the boat ramp, and assisted each of us in getting in the water. [We were on the wave runners, so didn't get wet.] Captain Ron was off shor a little bit, and as each of us rode over to him, he gave us some maneuvers to work through, like turns and backing up, that would come i handy during the tour. Once the group was set, we took off for the mangrove Islands. There were plenty of time we got up to 45mph and had nice turns and excitement. Halfway through the tour we stopped on a sand little island to stretch the legs and get some shells. Then it was back to the marina. We had a really nice time. The tour was amazing! It was my first time out with WOW jet ski but they sure did deliver!! They were the only people on the island that were willing and capable of accommodating a larger group so that my family could go together! They also were encouraging to my young cousin to get his boating license in order to drive on his own; and then they were willing to wait until he completed the test! Billy and Jake were so helpful, knowledgeable, and just overall fun!!! They both knew the area, knew what they were doing, and cared about ensuring a memorable trip! They were funny and personable and even made cool suggestions for things to do and see after our tour!! They let us go fast and hit some awesome waves. We saw tons of dolphins! First pod wasn’t super playful so Jake took us through some of the mangroves and found a pod with anywhere from 8-10 dolphins that just put on a show for us all and interacted with everyone in the group! Jake and Billy also took pictures/videos of our group and everything along the way that they sent to all of us! They made the trip so much fun! The only problem is now my fiancé expects us to buy jet skis of our own!!! 10 out of 10! We just returned from jet skiing with Wow Marco Island, and I can't recommend them highly enough! The instruction was incredibly informative, which really put my parents at ease since it was their first time out. Captain Ron was friendly and fun, clearly very experienced, and made sure we all felt safe while having a blast.

We explored so much of the area, weaving in and out of beautiful mangrove coves and stopping at a pristine white sand beach. We did see dolphins, ironically in the last 15 min of the ride! Captain Ron showed us how to follow them, making the experience even more memorable.

Scheduling was a breeze, and they were flexible with our request for an 11 AM start time. We arrived about a half-hour early for essential instructions, and the parking was wide open. There were seven of us, including three kids aged 10, 8, and 8, and we rented three jet skis. They were easy to ride, and we hit speeds of up to 47 mph!

One pro tip: make sure to wear sunglasses, as hats can fly off in the wind. The jet skis come with a large dry compartment for your belongings- waters, snacks, phones etc. so you can keep everything safe while you zoom around.

My mom, who was very nervous at first, got off at the end and exclaimed, "That's the best time I've had in a long time!" It truly was a fantastic day on the water, we all had a great time!
