Came in to buy a full vape setup. Asked if they included a free bottle of juice if you buy a full setup(mod, batts, tank, charger, coils). They employee said "no" and began to tell me that all the employees got in trouble for giving away over $40,000 in free stuff to customers this last year. 1...I've never seen a shop not give someone a free 10mil bottle of house blend juice to someone spending $150+ on equipment that is half that online with 2 day shipping(you pay more when u dont want to wait and it's nice to hold it in your hand to see how it feels before you buy it so I I get it) 2...that free 10mil is good advertising of your house blend and let's face it it prolly cost about $3 or less to make amd would have made the person feel like they got a better deal and got a "hook up". I just wanted to try it to see if I liked it cause house blends are cheaper than "premium" and if it was good I could save some money. 3...I'm not one of those people who got some of that $40,000 in free stuff so dont treat me like I was only there for freebies. 4...even after all of that I tried to buy some house blend before we left to only get told they only had 6mg nic in that flavor. No 0. No 3. Not like there wasnt a lil lab right thru that door behind the counter where they make it to order. Caught the impression he just wanted us gone. Not sure why. I came to buy a full setup and juice and now we will never go back there.
Update called general manager after he replied to this review. He apologized for his staff and offered a discount and " would make it worth my while to come back". He said he was going to work the next day 8-5 and to come see him. Took a Uber there at 330pm and walked in and asked for him. Was told he left for the day. No customers in the store, just the employees friends hanging out. Atmosphere was bad, like I interrupted their day and was a inconvenience to them. Asked about a juice again, and again all out of it in all nicotine strengths. Left kind of embarrassed for the second time. Tried calling the manager back to set up a different time to come back. No answer. Emailed him. No response. Called store 3 times today. No answer. I should never have gone back. Embarrassed twice and out $20 for uber. Will never go back. Not even for a free mod. Not going to give them the chance to do it 3 times. I will tell everyone about this shop with horrible customer service, arrogant employees, and not following thru with what they say they are...
Read more5 stars plus. I've been to my fair share of vape shops before my husband told me about Gourmet Vapor. He hated when I would go to one because he said, "These places you go to are awful, I don't like it." "They are dirty and the employees are always goofing off." He brought me into Gourmet about 3 years ago and since then I have only visited one other shop one time and that was for a friend. Gourmet is always so clean. I once caught a glimpse of where they prepare whatever juice you have in mind. I was shocked to see how clean that room was. The employee had rubber gloves on as well as a mask similar to what you see at a doctors office. If that isn't enough to make someone change vape shops, then maybe how friendly and hospitable every employee is will make you change. I'm impressed with the lengths the owner goes to, to ensure his shop is always clean, well lit, stocked and attractive. The employees are, as I said very friendly and patient. It doesn't matter if I ask them the same question 100 times, they are always willing to take the time to give me an answer and on the rare occasion they don't have an answer, they will go find the answer for me. The juice there is awesome and there are so many flavors to choose from. They always have good recommendations for me and if it turns out to be something I dislike, they say come back in and we will take care of it for you. This is not your regular vapor shop. This shop is top notch and I will go without before I go to a different shop. These guys have taught me so much about every aspect of vaping, from mods to simple mouth pieces. I appreciate their honesty about the products they sell. If I have something picked out and there is something different that they may think will work better for me, whether it is more expensive or less expensive there is no hesitation in pointing me in the right direction. My 5 stars say I have 68 visits, so I know that number is low because I haven't been a 5 star member since the first time I went in there. Not one time in well over 68 visits have I left disappointed. Bottom line, Gourmet Vapor is the very best shop you can go into. Read moreThis store used to be awesome, but just over the last year has taken a major dive in customer service. During COVID I have been ordering my juice online to pick up at the store. My most recent order of almost $80.00 in juice, I called 2 days later and was told “it will be ready tomorrow” over and over again! Then when a week had past and the final time I called to see if it was ready I was told “the person that makes the juice wouldn’t even be in until next week”. This same issue happened last time I ordered also. I have used this store since it opened its doors and I have never seen a separate employee just to make juice. It seems this store is now run by lazy kids that just don’t care. There are SO MANY more places to buy juice, even online; so my advice, take your money to somewhere that actually cares about its customers. More than a week for an order of juice is absolutely ridiculous! I could have ordered some online from a different company and had it shipped to my door by now! UPDATE- so while writing this review I decided, before I post it, to run into the store and use all my reward points (because I will not be shopping here anymore) and ask some questions. Low and behold there was an employee in the juice making room and when I asked about them making juice I was told the employee was “MAKING JUICE FOR ONLINE ORDERS”!
