Great place to for hidden groves, ponds, and shady trails. I especially enjoyed the birdhouse trail. Actually, I was blown away by the sheer number of clever and beautiful bird houses. There are several kinds to explore and if you are lucky you might see a turtle, or three. The Bird of Prey area was also very enjoyable. Such gorgeous owls, hawks and eagles to see. There is a great playground for the children, with pails in the sand and a water pump to add to the fun. There is even a children's library near the playground with some interesting books to read. It was about 10:30 am at the beginning of June. It was a pretty place but that part was just awful. Out in the sun they didn't seem as bad.
On a positive note, we loved the birds of prey section. The bald eagle and owls were amazing to see. The birdhouse path was also another favorite. We liked to see all the creative...
