Traderbakers Flea Market — Attraction in Martinsville

I had never had a problem shopping here before, but not too long ago, my fiancé and I went in to shop. He had his hoodie up, as did other people in the store. We decided to start at the very end of the store and work our way down. As we were shopping, there was an employee mopping the floors. After strolling through a few aisles, we noticed we were being followed. So, we decided to cut through some aisles, and headed back to the first aisle we started in to investigate further. Upon doing so, the employee proceeded to follow us. So, I asked her if she was following us, and she told us she was just spot mopping. I knew better. We continued to shop around the store, and she still continued to follow us. She violated my personal space to pick up the smallest piece of trash she could find. Enough was enough! We proceeded to go to the manager with our complaint, and he had admitted that there were 2 people following us. His justification? We were being followed based on what we were wearing. Are you serious? I don't know about you, but when I go to shop somewhere, I don't like being stalked throughout the store based on some stupid stereotype. If you do decide to go shop here, don't wear your hoodie up and don't wear loose clothing. They'll harass you...

My fiance and I were followed through the store we never gave any justification for the man peeping around every corner at us we didn't touch anything I think if the employee's are that afraid of someone stealing from the junk they have in their store they should close it down personally if someone were to steal i hope they would have more since than to steal rubbish plus I read a review that someone was denied access due to their service dog how shameful I hope that person sues the ass off TRADER BAKERS if I had my son and his service dog with me and was denied access I would have every major news source in Indiana on the doorstep to report how civil rights were violated TRADER BAKERS IS A JOKE...

I love this go to place for my business and home. I am happy that it's in martinsville. Today I was in there three times purchasing items for my business. The two women that took care of me at the check out were great. However I felt frustrated with the other three girls hanging out at the other station area right by the check out. One girl was eating food, another lady that seemed to be in charge was setting in front of a computer, the other was just hanging out. There was a line all three times I was there today. I asked on my first visit if one of them could ring me out. They said no. I thought it was very unprofessional for them to be hanging out and eating while the cashier had to do everything and make customers...
