China Buffet — Restaurant in Martinsville

As soon as I entered this establishment, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff member. She told me I could sit wherever I liked, so my wife and I proceeded to the left most booths. On our way though, a ruff looking man stopped me and said “I wouldn’t eat here, the food is horrible and cold”. I took note. After devouring the DELICIOUS and plentiful crab Rangoon, and the ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAWFISH, I decided to alert the owner (who is btw, EXTREMELY nice and helpful) of the mans comments. I also told him just how much I enjoyed EVERYTHING he was serving that day, and that I would have payed extra for the crawfish. Ok, honestly, this place was not our first choice, but the place we picked was too busy. So we decided to go here. So glad we made it here. The food was really good, the staff was absolutely great. The young lady running the front was extremely friendly and helpful. We also got to meet the chef, who was really nice and had a fantastic personality. There were 5 people in our party and everyone agreed that there was plenty of great food for each of them to choose from. We are visitors from out of town, but this will be a regular food stop when we are in town...

The price was pretty good for an all you can eat resaurant! Unfortunately, we got there just before the dinner hour and the fried rice was NOT fresh. Many of the other buffet items were not very tasty today. This was disappointing because I LOVE Chinese food.
