It’s a nice spot to go take the kiddos for a quick fishing trip. There a restaurants next to it. Parking is convenient. The upkeep is ok. No real restrooms nearby. Not the safest place if you’re going late in the evening. Kids have a blast, as an adult you have to be aware of your surroundings. The kids always seem to catch fish (we let them go, catch and release). We pack our own chairs. Next to a baseball field, plenty of space for kids to run but keep an eye on them because there is traffic coming in and out. Enough shade for you to enjoy your time👌🏻. Take some off, mosquitos 🦟 come quick. Gas station and dollar store are near by. Overall it’s a good spot to take the kids.

It’s a pretty lake that you can walk around on sidewalks, fish at, or just sit on the benches, admiring the lake and a little solitude. However, I gave it three stars because the amount of homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk, trashing the place, or just plain aggressive and freaking out on drugs is enough to make what would be otherwise lovely walk an uncomfortable experience. ‘Tis California.

Personally I love it. Just to get out of the house and go kick back for a little bit and watch and listen to the ducks. Yeah there is trash on the ground but I pick it up before I leave. I think the biggest issue is the duck poop everywhere, but if you don't mind that this is a perfect place to bring the kids just bring a loaf of bread so they can feed the ducks.

Its a beautiful manmade lake although the algae buildup has gotten out of hand and it due to not running the pump that sprays water up through the island on the south end of the lake that help keep circulation and water flow. The algae buildup and lack of circulation has made a breeding ground for mosquitoes and needs to be dealt with IMMEDIATELY with the scare of all the sicknesses and viruses going around dispersed by mosquitoes. If this problem was dealt with this lake would be 5 stars but until this problem is dealt with its only getting a 3-star rating because it is a major...

It's a very nice lake and park when it is actually cleaned. Unfortunately the homeless inhabitants of drug addicts around roaming doesn't make it so nice. Be careful because some are unpredictable and unstable coming off their high and asking for money or demanding stuff from visitors who stop to visit. My daughter and I try to avoid them as we enjoy some family time. We cannot come back because of the welcoming of aggressive...
