I went in wanting to be seated and enjoy a nice meal but was called to the register and thought that it was not a full service restaurant. When I got to the register I smiled and said hi and was looked at like I was barely being tolerated. I asked for a menu and ordered. I sat down and waited.
As I waited a group of 4 was sat and given menus and water, so apparently is in fact a Full Service restaurant for some.
When my order was ready she walked almost to my table and told me it was ready so I got up and went to the register and picked it up. Why didn't she bring it with her if she was walking within 5 feet of my table, why make me get up to go get it. Seems intentionally inhospitable which makes NO sense since I have never been there in my life (this was literally the first time). Was I not the "right" clientele??? What is going on?
The Lemon Grass soup was decent though not the best I've had, the Yellow Chicken Curry was OK, but the rice was very undercooked.
I literally hoped the food was not exceptional because I had decided to NEVER come back and didn't want to regret that decision.
I would highly recommend going the 45 min to Chico and eating somewhere there because it would be worth it to get a simple smile or perhaps you can find Thai food in Yuba City.
I'm a bit shocked that the place is still in business.
If it were possible, I would have put Zero stars, I honestly don't know why that's not an option on Google Maps
For reference, I think this is the first 1 star review I have given, but I could be mistaken. Either way, It is exceedingly rare that I give this kind of rating. I think if the lady was simply nice, I may have given a 4 or 3...
Read moreI went into the restaurant it's a tiny little quaint place the people that work there were really really nice it was clean the menu was kind of everywhere LOL I ordered the angel wings there's stuffed wings full of rice noodles and other yummy things you get two huge wings with rice and some veggies on the side it's a great portion for the price but. When I tried it it just tasted like they mashed up the chicken from the inside of the wing with the noodles and a bunch of other stuff and stuff to back in there and it was frankly dry and hard to swallow because it was so dry. it leaves you wanting more it doesn't taste bad but it doesn't taste good either it was just boring and mediocre in my opinion. If the chicken was not dry and it actually had moisture on the inside and you can see the noodles cuz everything is all chopped together in like a paste I would not recommend getting this dish I haven't tried their other dishes but for this dish I would...
Read moreIt was okay kind of disappointed, probably won't be going back. I've been craving some Thai soup, so I thought I'd try this place. The environment was decent and clean. I asked the waitress which soup was best with tofu she said that the Tom Yum Soup (Hot and Sour Soup) was the most popular. I got the tom yum and some green tea ice cream the soup was okay but not as much flavor as I'm used to in Thai soup.. and the green tea ice cream tasted like when you leave the lid off the ice cream in the freezer it had ice crystals and a slimy texture, which green tea ice cream is usually my favorite but I could barely even take a couple bites. I let the man know up front when he asked me how I was everything and his response was yeah well we keep it in the freezer..
But I like how they serve the water with a piece of orange...
