Don't know where my review went but I had something taken from the museum that I was told would be put on loan after it was cleaned up. Then I was called several months later and told my artifacts would not be used only to find that 3 of the most important artifacts were not in the box. I questioned this and was promptly asked to leave and not come back. Being that they were sentimental it has deeply bothered me to this day. I wonder if an 1866 GAR medal from William A. Read moreQuite an eclectic collection of artifacts! Delightful host is very knowledgeable about this county -- even before Tennessee was a state! Be sure to ask if you have an area of interest because there is about as much that is not on display! This museum is a gem! Make it a "must see" next time you're in this area!
