I’ll start with the good then get to the bad. First, the service was impeccable. Nice young lady served us and was very attentive. We started with hot and sour soup which was fantastic, but then things went downhill with our entrees. There were three of us and the three meals we ordered was Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and green curry chicken. Of the three, the orange chicken was best, but heavily breaded and fried, leaving only a small amount of chicken under all that breading. The Mongolian beef was very salty and there were more onions (undercooked) than anything else on the plate. Beef was ok, but a bit chewy for my liking. Lastly, the green curry chicken had to be sent back due to undercooked chicken!! The chef was sent to our table and wanted to make it right and send us the same dish with a better cooked chicken. The new dish came out with a “more cooked” chicken but the taste was just off, not good. This was our first time coming here, and sadly, probably our last. Nothing against the folks that work here, we loved our service. But if the food doesn’t...
Read moreThe absolute best in town. My family has been ordering food from Empire Garden ever since they opened as a New York Style carry out spot in the early 2000s. The quality since then has never waned. You can always expect fresh food no matter if you dine in or carry out. And since their remodel in the 2010s they have added Thai and Malaysian dishes to their menu. The red curry cannot be missed and has the perfect blend of sweet and spicy with your protein of choice. And for the Chinese menu, the hot and spicy shrimp is a homerun. Plus I've yet to find another spot anywhere in the country that can match the General Tso's chicken. Service is always friendly and the staff remembers their regulars as I'm almost always asked how my work is going or how my family is doing even when it might be months between orders. Empire Garden has been long standing in the community for a reason and should be on your radar for any Thai or Chinese...
Read moreSo choked. Just sat on the phone for 15 min struggling to make the basics of orders. To then have a girl I've never heard before then tell me they won't do combos because they are to busy and its for one person even though its the same order iv placed several times before with no issues because I order multiples of the combos with wonton soup and it goes over the minimal delivery. Then she bluntly refused because she kept thinking I only wanted it for one person! She then passed the phone over to another useless jerk and I heard her laughing and in the background saying "what is to difficult she doesn't understand". I then hung up. What is to difficult for me to understand ? The irony!!! Lol Well hopefully you understand you lost a loyal customer and I will never place another order again. Shove your greasy overpriced average food where the sun...
