Subway — Restaurant in Maryville

Tonight must have been a rough one for the staff there. I'm an understanding person and I understand how it can feel to be overwhelmed and under staffed. That's why I only took one star away. There were only 2 employees working at 6:30pm. One of them was new and still training. The other was so overwhelmed with online orders that they expressed their frustration to me at length while I patiently waited. I didn't mind to wait, because I didn't have anything going on. But 5 customers came in after me while I waited. Not all at once. Several minutes in-between each of them coming in. 3 of those 5 left frustrated before the employee could even start on my order. The new guy finally jumped behind the counter and took my order. He fumbled around and needed constant instructions from the other employee who was still working on the online orders. This caused another customer to huff and leave. Personally I wasn't upset about the wait and I understood why they were flustered. But I couldn't help but feel embarrassed for them because of the unprofessional way they handled the tough situation they were dealing with. They complained the whole time, told everyone "If you made an online order you will have to wait. If you didn't you will have to wait longer." Never once apologizing for the delay. And openly acting relieved each time a customer left without ordering. But all in all my sandwich...

I go to this subway alot ...there's a couple ladies in there that are great They know me and make my sandwiches just the way I want I went there recently in the evening when they were not there....I had another lady help me she wouldn't listen to a thing I said when I asked to have my sandwiches made my way She got a real bad attitude and started throwing the meat around huffing and puffing...the worst behavior I have ever seen in the place but I should of known from her green hair and tattoos on her neck I think they need to do something about their employees acting in such a manner I actually walked out in the middle of my sandwiches being made in front of a line of people , I couldn't deal with her is that someone you want representing your company? So subway Rockwood you probably know who this employee is I think you should have a conversation with her ....I give credit when I can I have over 1.5 million views of my reviews....but when it's not right your going to...

This is the only Subway I'll go to in the Blount County area. There is a fellow who works there who is there every time I go in. His name is Thomas, I believe. He is always so friendly and accommodating. He makes every sandwich with love, care, and concern. I had an American Club tonight and it looked like the TV ad it was so pretty to behold. The only thing better than the way it looked was it's delicious flavor. So fire Simone Biles, Patrick Mahomes, and definitely old cheating Tom Brady and hire more employees like Thomas. At least give him some of their scratch to encourage excellent "sandwich artistry". I will be back and strongly encourage all other folks to do the same.
