Nice morning walk. Entrance located just off Quinaquisette Ave. Limited parking; about 8-10 spots depending on puddles and how others are situated. Trails are nicely kept and have some variety in elevation but markings are sparse. Use an overhead map before going in to have an idea of their layout. Keep the river on your right going out and left coming back.

Made a mistake on our hike in terms of mapping and directions…why? Because I wasn’t thinking, didn’t pay close attention to my phone info and didn’t download map, didn’t pay attention to compass info, and I was lazy. All that all this means is (late May) more bugs, a bit of humidity and a longer hike back in a mildly dry warm Cape spring day. Result: more sweat and a better workout - that meant a top up on the after hike old...
