Maui Kart - Slingshot Rentals and Tours — Attraction in Maui

Amazing! My son and I were looking for something fun to do while the ladies hung out at the beach. I contacted Maui Kart about booking a Slingshot for a few hours. Alex was very easy to work with. He dropped the Slingshot off at our condo and picked it up later at no extra cost. He provided helmets at no extra cost. The insurance was included at no extra cost. There were no hidden fees at all. The Slingshot is quite a machine! The one we drove was in near-perfect condition. He also has another one that is nearly new as well. It handles like a dream. You'll get lots of stares from the locals and tourists and feel like you're driving a supercar. We traveled up to the Maui winery, then up Haleakala. I would highly recommend both of those roads, as they provide incredible views of the island, and the curves and hills allow the Slingshot to really shine. The most amazing thing about this rental is that it wasn't much more expensive than the road bicycle rental that we were looking into. I think the Slingshot rental from Maui Kart is one of the best values on the island, and you won't forget the trip. Bring a camera so the passenger can take a lot of pics...

As a surprise wedding present, my mother got my wife and I gift certificate to rent a Polaris Slingshot from Alex at MauiKart for 24 hours. The rental was set up for a specific date prior to us arriving on Maui, Alex reached out to us the day before the rental to make sure we did not need to reschedule. Alex also mentioned that the Slingshot could be delivered to certain resort areas, which happened to include ours. The following morning Alex arrived at our resort right on time, went over the features of the Slingshot and we were on our way! This was such an INCREDIBLE way to see the island, the Slingshot is very fun to drive and easy to operate! Please note that it is equipped with a manual transmission, so do be sure you know how to drive stick before trying to rent one. We drove the Slingshot through Kihei, Paia, Lahaina and Wailea; everywhere we went heads would turn as we drove by, we truly felt like celebrities for the day! When we were done with the Slingshot, Alex met us at our resort to pick it up right where he dropped it off to us. I highly recommend MauiKart if you're looking for a unique way...

Our 5-hour rental experience was excellent. The few extra dollars for dropoff/pickup was fully worth it. The delivery was exactly on time and turnover went seamlessly. Within minutes, we were cruising our way along the Road to Hana.

The Slingshot is an excellent choice for the numerous curves along the legendary road, especially once you get comfortable with maneuvering. The low vantage point and Batman-esque front end take a little getting used to but the drive quickly becomes a memorable experience.

If you're on the fence about making this rental, just go ahead and do it. You'll regret it...
