Alluring Nail Spa — Attraction in McKinney

I went in for a pedicure and had just an okay experience. They have redone the place and it’s beautiful and clean! So that is a pro. I was really excited since this place is right in the neighborhood. I do think their prices are pretty expensive compared to other nail salons. I chose just a basic pedicure with gel polish and typically at other salons, that at least comes with even a 5 minute massage. There was no massage and it was literally the most basic pedicure I’ve had. I did choose the “in and out” so I guess that’s why but based on pricing I assumed this was equivalent to other salons basic pedicure. The girl who did mine though did a great job with what was done - it just wasn’t relaxing at all.

All of that being said, I would have still given it another try. But, there was another customer in there during the time I was who was having a chat with the front desk person the whole time. When she was leaving, she recommended some Bible verses for them. Overall, even if they didn’t love what she was sharing, you can still be respectful. As soon as she left, they started talking bad about her and making inappropriate jokes as well. I get having banter with your coworkers about client interactions but this should not be done with another customer is still right there.

I tried once but twice and had a terrible result. The parking at this location is not the best so be prepared to circle and wait. The salon itself is not fancy but very clean, the staff is welcoming and makes conversation. I came in to have NexGen manicure and pedicure. My service was great, than day 1 chipped my right and left thumb...ok. u filled them down and worked all week. By day 6 all but 4 of my nails chipped and/or cracked. I called to see about getting a new set at half price. My NexGen typically lasts me over 4 weeks since I keep them very low. Shorter story longer, went back got a new NexGen and they charged my half price, he made them thicker but now my natural nail is separating from the acrylic. I won't be back and I know they do not care, they sell to have a very loyal following and I hope that sustains your business since you are not interested in getting new customers. My pedicure did not last a week either went I back I had a polish change already looking bad after a week. So I have spent over $150 to have someone else so my nails this week to avoid and fungus. Got an ad on instagram about their opening special , I got a manicure and pedicure . My pedicure was fine but for my manicure she did not remove the old nail polish off (red) fully (as shown) AND she did not file properly (gritty texture not smooth) AND she only did one layer of the polish so it is see through (you can see my nail , not professional) . I chose this blue sparkly color but it looks nothing like the book ! (Yes it was the right bottle the box matched ) . Unlike other salons where they paint one nail first and show you before they do all 10 nails , she did all ten and did not communicate much. I told her this color does not look like their own nail polish book shows , she told me “it’s fine, next time” . She did not want to fix it , she could have at least applied one more layer if she didn’t want to do it all over to a different color . Here are pics for proof.
