Not sure what everyone is ordering from here to explain the rave reviews, but our first experience here was less than desirable. To begin with, there was only one employee making food, and she clearly wasn't happy to be there. There was someone standing in her way who was wearing a white coat that said chef on it, but she was busy writing on a pad of paper rather than helping with all the customers.
We ordered two piadas and two pasta bowls. The tortilla/flat bread used to make the piadas were cold. Seems like they should be warm, but since this was the first time there, we don't know if they are typically served cold. One was with steak, but sadly, the steak was too tough. We love broccoli so we added it to the piada, but it was either bad or seasoned with something very odd. So, with the cold piada, tough steak, and strange flavored broccoli, none of us wanted to eat it so, making it a big waste of money.
The marinara pasta with calamari and the basil pesto pasta were okay, but the bowls were only half-filled with pasta which was ridiculous considering the price of pasta and amount paid.
All in all, we won't be returning to this place...
Read moreWe are here for Friday dinner on 07/19 around 9pm, it was only the day I got some free time with my wife after 3 months. So we planned for decent diner options, went into order - it was empty store and one table is filled outside the store having their dinner. We were waiting to place the order for almost 15min, but the staff is busy itseems with cleaning and other online orders. The store closing hours are 10pm, but still they acted like they are almost closed. No proper customer interactions, w me tried to talk but the response was not so fruitful. So after 15min we planned to left and told them in a gentle way but the staff got pissed off because we didn’t wait for them to finish up their lazy tasks. Having young kids as staff is good, but please make sure to train them or accompany with a professional manager. This team was clueless, if you think I’m wrong please check your cameras for proof. Not anymore a Piada fan, you definitely lost a...
