My grand daughter is 15 mo. and when I drive in the parking lot she just points at the playground. Now when she just points it means she really likes it and wants to do that! The park is fenced in and has gates you can latch that a young child wouldn’t know how to unlatch it so even if they’re running around they really can’t get out of the fenced area. All around the play areas they have a real soft cushioned rubber surface that makes it pretty safe for the little ones. All the equipment seems new and In really good condition. The equipment is pretty varied and gives the kids a variety of things to do and they are geared to age of the kids. There are paved walk ways and benches for the parents, which makes it nice to sit and watch them play. In the middle area of the playground, there's a splash pad for the kids. On these hot days they can activate the sprinkler type fountain sprays they walk through and cool down. I believe this opens at 11:00 for use.

If you like to walk a bit there is a walk trail around...

I took my 5yo and 7yo to the playground and splash area. Very nice park. The splash area is simple (just some fountains that shoot up from the ground) but is great to cool off on a hot day. The water stops at 5pm. I don’t think the water area is particularly slippery but i would suggest water shoes. My son and a couple of other children who were barefoot did slip. The playground structures are really unique and fun. They have a smaller one for young kids and larger structure for older kids. There was also a trail and lake but we didn’t follow. Highlights: -fenced in with only two doors -bathrooms (clean and open until 5pm) -clean picnic area with tables and benches. Covered and large with plenty of seating. -electric car charging station (not free) -plenty of parking

Cons -no trash cans. Small inconvenience.

Overall would def recommend as a...

I highly recommend this park, it's got everything! The playground is large and has lots of swings, structures and interactive displays for children of all ages. The ground is padded to help reduce injury and the structures range from small, toddler sized to large with big nets to climb on and huge slides for older children. There is also a nice pond with a short loop trail around it; perfect for children of all ages and even accessible by stroller. For the more avid hikers/nature lovers, there's a longer trail that branches off that I didn't have time to explore. There are also picnic tables with shelter from the elements that are perfect for a bday party. This park is also down the road from a Muffin House if you want to bring delicious baked goods and coffee/drinks to the park. There is also ample parking and bathrooms. They thought of everything...

The best part was that it was a free activity. There were picnic tables, a fenced in playground area for toddlers as well as a fenced in bigger kids playground. A free splash pad!! A must visit if you’re in the area. #splashpad #splashpadseason #summer #summerfun #toddler #toddlertok #toddlersoftiktok #playground #freesplashpad #freeactivities #newengland #hiddengems #boymom #boymomlife #choatepark #medwayma #massachusetts

This park is such a gem! They’ve really thought of everything for families. There’s a playground designed for both little ones and older kids, so everyone has something to enjoy. The bathrooms are impressively clean, which is always a huge plus. There are plenty of picnic tables scattered throughout, including long ones under a gazebo—perfect for sunny days or even hosting a party. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the park also offers great fishing spots, an open field for picnics, and a walking trail complete with outdoor exercise equipment you can actually use. One thing to note: it’s a bring-in, take-out park, so there are no trash cans. Just plan ahead and carry out what you bring in. Overall, it’s a wonderful one-stop spot for families to relax, play, and enjoy the day.

First time visit to Choate Park and I loved it! It's beautiful park with a pond you can walk around, or sit by on a bench. The trails through the woods are great as well. I spend over an hour walking there, and I'm looking forward to going back. There is a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a playground for kids, and bathrooms. The Children's Peace Garden was beautiful and sad. It is to honor Medway children gone too soon. “To think there will be a garden with each child’s name etched in stone will be a comfort to us. A place where family, friends and neighbors can walk, pause and remember. A sacred space to gather and to show our love for these children. A love that will echo through eternity even when we are long gone.” Susan Connolly
