Village Pool & Spa Inc. — Local services in Medway

I walked into Village Pool in Medway with a broken pump on a Tuesday morning. Not only did Stephanie and Paula help me figure out what may be wrong they couldn't do enough to help me!!! Their customer service was beyond fabulous!!!!! Not exactly knowing how to fix it they called Dick (who I will say was not in the store) he said he would come in to fix it around noon. Again who does that? He could have easily said he would look at it on Wednesday when he was coming in but he didn't, again talk about GREAT customer service!!! Dick came in repaired and replaced parts to my pump for an extremely affordable price!!! The pump was ready I picked it up the same day with perfect instructions on how to hook it back up from Dick!!! My pool is back up and running crystal clear thanks to Village Pool. If you're looking for a pool store with workers who only want to help you then this is your store!!! I will always be a customer of Village Pool not just because they always have what I need for my pool but because of how they treat their customers!!!!! Last year I needed a new liner. I had cracked the old one that was at least 15 years old. Second summer in the home for me. I was frantic as I had no idea what to do and thought the pool was doomed. It was late afternoon and the pool place near my work was closed. I called village and they picked up the phone after hours and calmed me down. Even though they were closed the next day, the owner came out to my house to assess what I had done. I felt great. Just needed to replace the liner, that's it. I placed the order right there. Other pool place has tools me a few weeks before a new liner would take 3 months to get, as I asked casually, before the incident. The new liner showed up in 2.5 weeks not months. Installs the next day.

I purchased the water thru village as well.

Only negative was with the pool installer. He said he would come back the next day to cut holes for skimmer/returns. He didn't. It took two days for him to show up. Not a big deal, but a call would have calmed my nerves, this big hole in the ground full of water is a bunch of money.

I scheduled an appointment for our pump issue on the previous week, the boss said he would call me if he could come. Absolutely he did not call or come. This week I called again, he told me he will come early morning around 8am on the next day, but did not show up until 9:45am, I called him again. he said he did not said that and asked me to find someone else. If he told me this on the first day, I would not spend one week on waiting. Definitely not recommend this store to anyone. In the past, they may did a good job, however, with the business growing, the price up and they also do not care about losing one or two customers! Also, do not be fooled by the pool water free test, that was their way to sell their products and chemicals.
