I reached out to this shop after my sister recommended Anthony, especially since she had a great experience with him. I was hoping for something simple, just words on my arm, but Anthony let me know the design was "out of his wheelhouse."

I respect that artists know their strengths and have the right to pass on work that doesn’t align with their style. That said, I was a bit surprised, considering the simplicity of the request. It left me a little confused and disappointed, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend him because it seems he just didn't like my design idea. They lost a good customer.

After posting my review, the shop responded claiming that Anthony offered me alternative placement options for the tattoo. I want to clarify that this is simply not true. At no point during our brief conversation were any alternative placements discussed, nor was there any effort made to explore the design further or offer to connect me with someone else in the shop.

I would have appreciated a more honest and transparent response instead of trying to reframe the situation. My experience wasn't about being told "no", it was about how it was handled and the lack of communication or willingness to collaborate. Visions is the place to to if you want some quality work done, tattoo or piercing, you won't be disappointed. From I am a client of Ariel's, as amazing of a tattoo artist she is, she's an even better person, you can't go wrong with her, you will come for the tattoo and stay for the conversation, she is definitely one cool person. Everyone else in the shop from Canman, Craig, Mike, all the way down to the receptionist will make you feel super welcome and valued. On top of the quality of work and employees, make sure you take notice of how immaculately clean it is, it is operating room clean, down to the bathroom, and if the bathroom isn't clean, honestly, nothing else is clean, and their bathroom is pristine. The last thing is the price compared to other shops, everyone always complains about how expensive tattoos are, I have to say, I think they're prices are honestly more than fair, yes you may get sticker shock depending what you expect to pay hourly compared to other shops, but to this I say don't be close minded, regardless how "expensive" you may find it, it is an investment in yourself and you have to think long term, your tattoo will be with you forever, after it's all said and done, it really cost pennies a day over the course of your life. I had an excellent experience getting my daughter's ears re-pierced at this place! After her initial piercings five years ago at a popular mall retailer, they became infected, and we were nervous about getting them done again. But Cynthia, the piercer, was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and had such a positive attitude, which immediately put both of us at ease. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answering all our questions and making sure we felt confident in the process. Most importantly, she made my daughter feel completely comfortable and relaxed during the entire procedure.

We were the only clients there at the time, so the attention we received was incredibly personal. The space and room were spotless, and it was clear that cleanliness was a top priority.
