Best playground park in melb area.

Enough room to hover/ skate board, bike, run/ walk, sit & eat. Newer playground, although there is a top level open area that's quite dangerous for littler kids. It's suppose to be for the pole but it's so wide open that it's very risky since it's basically almost 3 levels up.

Some might be worried about location since across us1 isn't favorable. But all the years I've gone, no homeless or junkie has ever approached us or come near in and way that felt worrisome.

The tech bros working in those bldgs are always taking a break& power walking around. Everyone is friendly but also in their own zone. It's not at all as creepy and filled with rage filled ppl like dt melb is. Very safe compared to other parks.

Kids always down for Riverview park. Says a lot when kids find it enjoyable.

Even during farmers market when it's crazy bz, there's always...

Small Event but getting bigger with more crafters participating. The riverside park has the wide concrete sidewalk and large shade trees and all outside with easy access for car parking right next to the show with pull in/out parking. Multiple food vendors there on both ends of the show.

Update... The Cares Act giving out money in the form of money tokens which are only spent at the Event. If you are not getting any of these free money tokens then be in for a price shock as with so many free dollars in the form of tokens... most of the vendor prices have been inflated. The Cares Act runs. out in December... So I will be skipping this event until then.

Sas part ... Knew many folks in that line to grab the tokens who never were personally effected by the Covid-19......

First time experience but it was worth the time. You sign up for free and get token coins a value of $50 to spent towards merchandise for sale like fruits , frozen yogurt for the kids , giant size homemade cookies and brownies. They also have clothes , plants , scented candles the list goes on. You will be amazed at what you can find. A nice relaxing Saturday morning fun thing to do and it's different. I enjoyed it. Bring cash for non edible items , because some venders do not accept the token coins , they are more for food items even white shrimp and...

Beautiful park in a lovely, photogenic area. They have a great walking trail. It's not flat. An updated and inviting playground with everything a young child could want. Several pavilions for sitting or eating. I didn't use the bathroom facilities, so I have no comment regarding them. They have a Farmer's market every other Saturday. It was my first time there and it was for the annual Mayor's Fitness Challenge

This is a real nice waterfront park to bring the family. It is clean, safe, kid and pet friendly. Plenty of jungle gyms for the kids to play on and pavillions for picnics. Every First and Third Saturday of the month they have a great farmers market. Lots of craft and artisan booths and a few food trucks as well. Make this park a spot on your weekend fun list for sure.
