Claude Edge Front Street Park is another fantastic little park we love in the Brevard County area! We last visited on June 20th and went jet skiing at the park. It was a beautiful morning and there were both manatees and dolphins out on the water. We spent a couple of hours jet skiing, and another hour or two just relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous view the park has to offer. If you enjoy boating, kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, etc., then this is the perfect park to ramp off from and enjoy the day on the water. It also has several docks, restrooms, and a playground, as well as the boat ramp. The park is also beautiful to stroll along the water. Just another highlight in Melbourne that we highly recommend!

This was such a nice little park I recently went to for a photo shoot for one of my pet photography clients. It is a relatively small park, but very pretty and quiet. No kids playground, so you don't have to hear screaming kids all the time. You can walk out on the little docks to enjoy the river or enjoy a stroll or picnic at the many bench areas under the beautiful oak trees. It was great for photos too. There is even a cute little gazebo in the front of the park. This is definitely a nice place to go if you just want to relax and take in some nature.

What a sweet almost hidden gem of a spot. Though it is small, what this park offers is huge. First there are the views: stunning. You get the bridge, the water, the birds, the boaters, the trees and even the occasional playful dolphin. Then there's the perfectly placed picnic benches/tables or the park benches where you can park yourself. You can sit and watch the clouds roll by or the birds fly overhead. You can come for a short breather or stay and watch as the people scenes change. Perfect place for solitude or gathering with friends.

• Nothing to write home about, really. Just a nice, little park with a good view of the Indian River Lagoon. The parking lot has lots of potholes and is in need of urgent attention. Overall rating: ★

• Update 05/26/24: No significant improvements. The neighboring luxury condo houses have had some facelift work; nice. Front Street itself was also redone with paving bricks. WMMB-AM demolished its old broadcasting house and replaced it with a drab utility shanty (I wish the station could've spared that last good example of art-deco design, but I suppose the radio station had its reasons.). The park, sad to say, was largely untouched. The parking lot is STILL full of potholes, except that there are now more of them! Melbourne Parks & Recreation — get off your duff and fix this place! It is not a good representation of this "little, big city." Overall rating: ★★. [Photos to...

So, I hear the Friday fest downtown Melbourne is over this Friday & its moving to Front st?! Why doesn't Front St do like cocoa Village & Daytona beach band shell and get big name bands and tribute bands and charge $3 for tribute bands and $10 for big name bands, cocoa village was packed for Eddie Money, and the tribute bands at Daytona band shell get packed, and they are awesome, then we wouldn't have to drive so far for some great entertainment & the city makes $$$$$$, vendors make $$$, at Daytona the city even has a bar inside the venue where you can get drinks, adult and kids drinks and some food choices! Make it a Family...
