Crane Creek Promenade was probably a nice place, do note the was. Now, although, when I had visited it there was a strange engineering feat happening, with the construction of giant metal tubes and platforms. I'm not sure exactly what they are or what they're for, but the construction was certainly loud and the smell of smoke and metal filled the air. That was only a month or so ago, perhaps the construction has finished and the area has returned to decency. I will say, the old looking railway nearby and the underpass were nice areas to explore around, but as of currently with the construction it is a bit hard to appreciate the good things. Of course, no hate to any of the workers, they were just doing their jobs, a fascinating one at that. I wonder what had been built there? Regardless, I would rather wait for the construction to finish before visiting this scenic area again.

Honestly didn't have high expectations for this place, happened to be in the area and thought well if we can find a place to launch the kayaks let's try it. We launched right by the old rail road bridge and wwnt up stream till the rain forced us to come back. But, it was so nice! We seen turkey, turtles, manatees, sharks, and dolphins. Will make time to spend more time out there the next time we go back. Highly suggest you toss a kayak out here and go sight see.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Melbourne! There were alot of homeless people hanging out there..... that didn't stop me from stopping for a few minutes to take in all the beauty God has created for us to enjoy. I'm from Orlando but if I lived close by I would definitely be here on a regular basis. Great thinking spot.

this place is so beautiful, calm and quiet to relax and enjoy during the day but going here alone late evening or night may not be safe since it is away from main road and nobody around.. didn't get to spot any manatees or dolphins but I will be definitely going back to try my luck..parking lots are available on the road side and across this site.

I was lucky enough to spot a dolphin today playing around for a while when I was there..also saw a big crab under water but didnt get a...

I came here based on the number of reviews citing lots of wildlife - we saw nothing. It was a very short little promenade adjacent to a marina, bracketed on either side by a bridge with lots of pilings. Based on the other reviews I expected it to be much bigger with adjacent attractions, but again, nada. We had planned on a nice walk along the water with some animal sightings but it was generally very disappointing. It looks like a good spot for fishing but...
