Drew's Brews and Grille 2101 Henley Ct., Melbourne, FL 32901

4 Stars

As I sat down at the bar, a patron had a medical episode that sucked the attention of the entire staff. It looked a tad suspect to me and that was confirmed by the ambulance never leaving the parking lot after being loaded up. 20 minutes later the ambulance was still parked out front. I only mention this as I wholeheartedly believe this would have been a 5-star review otherwise.

Tanya was the bartender and server and she did an outstanding job, regardless of the circumstances of my visit. I asked for one Black & Blue Burger (medium rare) with a side of rings and one traditional wing basket Buffalo style. Here is where the aforementioned medical incident directly affected the rating.

After one bite, I knew that this would have been a Five-star burger if the staff's attention wasn't diverted from their task at hand. I don't begrudge them this, they did what they had to do which is to look after the care and well-being of their customers; however, it did cause the burger to be over-cooked. Even so, this gigantic hand-made-to-order burger was popping with flavor, and the toppings were the best I've encountered on a burger. Many chefs overuse bland spices on ground beef, having a hebetative effect on the dish as a whole. This was not the case here. The meat was fresh, the bacon was delicious and the Blue Cheese exceptional. If it wasn't slightly overcooked, it would be well worthy of "Top Burger". The side of Onion Rings were perfectly cooked, which isn't easy due to their varying thickness and size.

As hard as it was to put this scrumptious burger down, I reminded myself I had a job to do and turned my attention to the basket of Buffalo wings. These were cooked optimally, seasoned superlatively and exquisite on the palate.

My wife and I decided to try out this place tonight. The parking is a little tricky but don’t be discouraged. As we walked in the owner was very friendly and invited us in to sit where we liked.

Their menu has a big selection, I wasn’t sure what I wanted when I walked in but I had to try the “Big Bertha” burger as the picture was very good looking. We ordered beers and the beer cheese pretzels. The pretzels came out and were absolutely mouth watering crisp outer with a perfectly soft inner. The cheese was very good as well it says IPA, (which I’m not a fan of) but it was very mild and extremely good.

The burger, let me say that I eat burgers all the time and I go out of my way to find good burgers. Drew makes one of the best burgers I have ever had hands down. Certainly the best in central Florida. He actually cooks it to the temperature you ask for, it’s juicy unadulterated angus beef goodness.

Drew is great and he opened a really great business and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and service at a reasonable price. And it’s a really cool place to just hang out at too. I will be...

So... I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. But im still going to review it. We decided to sit outside because it was a perfect day, and we had a toddler we were trying to entertain, and when I Googled, it said there were games. I use games loosely because it was corn hole (with no bean bags) and a giant connect four (no issues with it). Nothing more, but we made it work. We sat at a table and were asked to move by the workmen on the roof. A couple of other people arrived and tried to sit outside as well, but after about 10 mins, they were asked to go inside because of the work going on. Eventually, they stopped, and we weren't told to go inside (probably because we were close to the building and they couldn't see us). As far as the service, everyone there was very nice, but....it took a long time to get service to our table and it took about an hour for us to get our food after waiting a long time to order (2 burgers and one kids meal). The plus side is that our food was phenomenal. I'll probably go back just to see if it...
