UPDATE: They have made lots of improvements to the park. The roads in the park are now all paved, new white rock has been added to most sites and the park wi-fi is much better (Prices were raised slightly but well worth all the improvements.) Access is still a pain due to very heavy traffic in the area but it's the best and most convenient park to stay in while visiting the area.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: The park is nothing fancy but is the very best RV park in the area. Sites are gravel and fairly close together but they make an effort to not park RVs side by side unless they are very busy or you are traveling with someone and want to park near each other. Steps away from an excellent farmer's market with many great restaurants a very short drive north on Germantown Parkway. Access the park on Walnut Grove Rd east from I-240 or use the back streets from I-40 via Canada Rd/Houston Levee Rd south to Walnut Grove Rd west--don't even think about driving an RV on Germantown Parkway (the street is 6 lane but is very, very busy and Memphis drivers are the most rude and inconsiderate drivers in the...
Read moreWe attended the Southern Women’s Show which is a regular event in Memphis and returned to the Agricenter. I was selected as an “Insider” which meant months before the show I was to post and help advertise on social media. They gave 10 tickets to women that have never experienced the Southern Women’s Show. We gave them away to the ladies at the Mcfarland Community Center. The show was Friday March 1- Saturday March 2- Sunday March 3. They had a ball and so much fun....Hundreds of booths for networking, socializing, shopping and sampling. Jewelry, make up, pets clothing and Educational presentations, Fashion Shows and demos. So many hand-outs, give aways and prizes. Also a food court for snacking. This was a great event and the Agricenter had plenty of free parking, and was spacious venue. We will return...
Read moreI so enjoy being here. Most campers and people staying here are nice and friendly folks. I'm very excited now that the Farmer's Market is open!!! If you haven't taken time to visit it's time you did! Now for my, I don't like or appreciate people not picking their dog poop up. There are plenty of places to throw it away. I save my bags from the grocery store and Wal-Mart to pick my Yorkies poop up. Today I arrived home after shopping and there is a big pile of poop, almost as big as my dog, right where I park. With this heat it smells really bad. I wish I had a camera to see who did this. I know I will have a pick it up and as soon as that's done I will probably be throwing up. People it is a simple chore....think of...
