Subway — Restaurant in Memphis

Worst experience ever, got off work exhausted saw subway was open because the sign was lit up, mind you if the open sign wasn’t lit I wouldn’t have even bothered I would’ve just went home, but anyway I walked in to order, I was greeted by a woman who was getting ready to take my order but then her husband came from the back and asked was I picking up, I said no im ordering, he then tells me “we’re closed” while trying to discretely cut off the open sign but I saw him and heard it click, so I stated well the sign says open and the food is still out, and online its says you all are open until 9:30pm, he just smiles and says in his indian accent “no the sign is off see” while pointing at the sign. I f I had been white or Indian he may have served me but I guess he didn’t feel like. If you are of African American decent I wouldn’t recommend this Subway ever, just take the extra minutes and drive to the one on Houston Levy or Germantown pkway, they have better customer service...

Gave me old crumbly bread that was cracking on the top at 4:18pm i took it back at 5:48pm . the male employee touched all on the bread with his gloves that he just rung (touched register & money) someone up with & proceeded to tell me the bread isnt hard & because i came more than a hour late i cant get a refund or the sandwich made over . so i say to him “so im suppose to eat this sandwich that you touched all over?” then he gets a female employee (im assuming she’s the manager) who comes & touch on the bread also with gloves on she just made a sandwich with . She told the male employee that i need to go & i cant come back . BABY TRUST . I WONT BE BACK , you aint have to tell me . oh & i came back late because i went to the hospital...

0/10 stars. Do not recommend. My first time coming into this subway I was racially profiled. I asked a question about coupons, and Paul rolled his eyes and said to me “I already told you we don’t do coupons.” I was shocked, and told him that was my first time in the store. He said, “No I’ve seen you before. You have the same hair and you come in here every time asking about coupons. I said no coupons.” Paul was very rude to me upon my first time visiting. The second time I visited, Paul was there and he glared at me while I was thinking of my order. I do not recommend this location and would like action to be taken for this employee!
