Absolutely the worst service Iâve received anywhere for my entire 50 years of going to Krystal. (Or any other restaurant) Donât get Krystal very often, so was excited to get my fix. Went at 3 pm on Saturday and was asked to wait a second before ordering. We were at that point the only car in the parking lot. We waited 4 minutes and another person came on to ask if we could wait a bit more, but this time they left the microphone on and we listened to a back and forth for 5 minutes about why the cash drawer was $3 short. By this point there were 4-5 cars behind us. Waited a bit longer, but finally followed the other cars out of there. Because I REALLY wanted my Krystals w/cheese. We came back Sunday at 11 to give them another try. We did manage to get out order in at the 3 minute mark because we only were asked to wait for 2 minutes this time. In fairness, it looked like one person inside and a car ahead of us. Got to window and after another 3 minutes we were asked to pull forward and theyâd bring order out. After another 5 minutes I went back to the drive through window because the door on that side was locked. When I knocked on the window the lady shoved out a bag that had grease stains on the bottom. Since it was obvious the order had been sitting there ready ( I didnât have to ask or say anything when she handed it over) I asked if it was fresh? She assured me it was, but if youâve read this far you can imagine whatâs coming. Fries were moderately warm. 2 Krystals were fine. 2 were barely warm. And of course, my 2 Krystal with cheese were stone cold. I pulled around and went inside to ask for fresh food and was told it would take 12 minutes to fix some fresh. Now all you Krystal fans know it doesnât take 12 minutes to fix a Krystal at lunch time. The lady I assumed was in charge couldnât have been more rude. There was no apology for the wait or misleading me about whether the food was fresh.
I hope this epistle saves a Krystal fan from wasting their time and Money on...
Read moreThis store had the worst customer treatment I have ever experienced in my 30 years of being alive. My family and I are visiting from out of state. We love the location on Bourbon Street in NOLA, so we thought we'd give this location a try.
We put in an online order, waited 20 minutes before heading to the store to pick up. The line was long. Once I arrived to the menu board, I sat there for 7-10 minutes; not a single person said hello or took my order. I thought that maybe the kiosk was broken, as the car in front of me had reached the window, and I was concerned I was holding up the line for everyone behind me. I drove to the window and let the lady know I had an order for pick up. I was directed to drive to the front and someone would bring my food out.
10-15 later, no one had brought food out. People three cars behind me had received food and left. I got out of the truck and knocked on the window (lobby closed). Then, an employee spotted me, rolled her eyes, and brought food out. She explained I needed to order at the kiosk. I tried to explain everything above, but she copped an attitude and argued that I needed to tell them BEFORE the window. I basically apologized, what else could I do? She said there weren't many employees working, and to basically deal with it (implied). She basically threw my food at me (order was incomplete, missing items, and the lid to my drink was broken, resulting in spilling on myself and car). When she went inside she told me "uh huh, lose the attitude." I didn't think I had an attitude.
Husband and I tried to call the store to complain about the service. We had to call 7-8 times before anyone picked up. Finaly the manager picked up, but didn't seem to care. She offered to replace missing items, but didn't find out my name, so I doubt it would be resolved.
I hate writing bad reviews, but this service was absolutely horrible and I would hate for someone else to be treated the same. We all have bad days, so maybe this location is...
Read moreUpdate: Okay, so in desperation for breakfast I went back. Mistake! They open at 6am, but at 7:30 am, they had nothing ready for breakfast! The drive thru was lined up with cars waiting on their orders. I was told no sausage gravy ready yet, no 3 egg breakfast plate could be made ready. My only option was to order the Krystal Sunrisers, yuck!
This location has two drive thru's and both were empty this morning when I pulled up and I chose lane 1. While waiting for them to take my order, another car pulled up to lane 2. Then I could hear through the lane 2 speaker that they were immediately taking lane 2's order, even though I had been waiting and had arrived first. Furthermore, suddenly a lady came over my speaker and said "what did you say?" when I had not said anything. I told her I had not said anything, but that I had been waiting patiently for them to take my order but they were taking the other car's order that arrived after me. Then just silence. I spoke again and asked if they were ready to take my order, again silence. I said "excuse me" and again there was only silence. I drove off without ordering and WILL NOT BE BACK! The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because their speed of service both in the restaurant and at the drive thru has greatly improved since they first open, but it isn't...
