Mendon Town Beach — Attraction in Mendon

It was nice to get away from our normal spot. Parking is across the street and not a long walk at all. It was $3 a person from anyone outside of MA and $2 a person from anyone who resides in MA. They had a concession stand and the prices were very fair. It has a tiny park in the grass area that leads into a sanded area that leads into the area of sand that meets the water. Its basically 3 levels of land. Its quite small area but everyone was respectful of giving you your space. Im not quite sure why they label this as a beach because its defenitly a lake. Very Clean $3 entry fee if you are not a town resident there are 3 floating Docks that can be utilized to either soak up sun or catapult your self into the cool refreshing water the operating hours are from 12pm'7pm. Yes there are life gaurds on duty there id a snack shack there which is reasonably priced serving hotdogs, french fries, etc. The staff that was there were very friendly the surrounding grounds were very well maintained and the biggest bonus of all were there was very little crowds it was almost like having your own private oasis. We went here for a "movie on the beach" with one of their local real estate companies, Custom Home Realty, and had a good time. They have a designated swimming area which is deep enough to swim around in but also small enough for toddlers or not strong swimmers to stand around in the water.
