I love this park. Anywhere from playing here when I was a kid, to many many family reunions being hosted here, right up to the current day marketplace & splash pad addition, everything has been so nice. And if you're feeling like you want a little peace on your visit, you can take a walk along the river and find yourself lost in the woods... Even if only for a second.

Nice park. Pretty big fields to run around in. Has a band shell with a concert series, very big playground for both young and old. Splash pad isn't huge but big enough for the volume of visitors. Picnic shelter, tennis courts, and pickleball. The wind can be a bit problematic. There aren't a whole lot of large trees so keep that in mind.

So much to do here! Our three year old could spend all day at this park. If you came in the summer for the splash pad, don't forget to come back now that it's cooler. There are a lot of activities for kids to explore. The little restaurant clubhouse seemed to be the most popular! Great challenging climbing courses!

Very nice and new park. Has a little splash pad (nothing fancy, but good enough for our kids to cool off). Big open areas adjacent for kids to run around as well. My only "gripe" is that it's next to the middle school and so the middle-schoolers like to hang out there and do what kids that age do (after school let's out). Not sure how it will be over the summer. I'm not naive, I don't blame them for doing what kids that age do, and I probably was the same way. Now that I have little kids though, I understand why I would get looks from parents when I did those things at that age.

Still, it has never stopped us from going to the park. The kids loveit . It has a lot of parking and some restaurants/shops within walking distance if you don't want to have to pack the kids back up to do...

Peaceful walk in the middle of downtown Menomonee falls, with a stream that runs through it. If you start at the middle school and take the left fork, you can walk downhill and cross it. Continue through the small woods, then go out to the street and right. Another right at the next corner will bring you around to the other side of the park. To get back across the park to the middle school, look for the chain link fence with a paved path. It's about 3/4 down the block. There's a yellow house right before this, with a pretty porch. After entering the park again, the stream will be on your right. There's also a playground, a small outdoor stage, tennis courts, picnic tables, and a public restroom across the street from the N middle school. In the summer, there is a weekly...

Amazing park!! Took my 20mo old granddaughter and she was going full speed back and forth to everything. The only reason I didn't give 5 starts is that some areas lead straight to the road and for the little who don't understand yet it gave me a bit of anxiety when she would run that direction. One thing we also took note of is when the school across the street let's out the area gets over run with older kids - not all pay attention to there surroundings or where they are going, there is some horse play. It isn't overly safe to have a toddler lose with out risk of them getting knocked over, bumped, or scared/ overwhelmed by the big kids running around. So we plan to better time our visit next time... we will...
