We love the Alumni Club! During the summer (or warm days) they open the windows and there is a beautiful breeze. Not a large place, but worth the wait. Food is wonderful. Our favorites are the patty melt (my teenage daughter begs to go for this), pork totchos (amazing), pizzas, flatbreads, appetizers. The staff is wonderful and so friendly. There is also a room downstairs available for private events. It reminds me of a basement Wisconsin bar in the most wonderful way. It's like hanging out with your friends, but you don't have to cook the food! They recently hosted an after-show event for AOK. We had a gaggle of kids and adults decent on them at 10:30 at night. They were wonderful and the service was quick. Kids were able to eat and the adults has some much needed beverages! Our bartender/server Ally was the BEST.

As far as downtown Falls go, (I’ve lived here 10+ years) there isn’t much to choose from. So I’d think it’s not too hard to become a great place for food. Alumni Club misses the mark but they could nail it if they just refined a bit. For those that like Friday fish fry’s, the fish is great but the cocktail lemons they serve with the fish is nasty. The potato pancake oil needs to be changed asap! You can taste the burnt oil in them. They have an excellent side dish, tatter tot nachos or totchos, this time around no sour cream and whoever made them just covered, and I mean COVERED these in cheese. Good help is hard to find I guess. Swing and a miss guys and girls. And much like everything else in downtown Falls, parking is always atrocious.

Nice bar in "downtown" Menomonee Falls on Appleton Ave. Great bar food and a lot of drink options. I love that they open the front of the business and let in the fresh air. Extremely friendly server, immediately warned us that the kitchen was closing soon and and gave us a helpful countdown to ensure we got our food order in. Pictured is the patty melt.

So disappointed in this place. They apparently think it is ok for their employees to rip customers off. My husband & I stopped in for dinner on March 29. Afterward we played some of their gambling machines. I won $601! I gave my ticket to Harvey who told me he couldn’t pay me & I would have to come back. OK, no problem. Before we left, I had another ticket for $100. I gave it to my husband to cash with Harvey while I went to the restroom. Harvey said he couldn’t pay this out either & would add to the envelope. Next day they had an event & my daughter was there so I asked her to pick up the money. Only $601 in the envelope. My daughter saw Harvey on Thurs April 3 & asked him about it. He told her he had paid my husband. Absolutely did not happen. On Sat April 5, we went in the morning & I asked to speak with a manager & spoke with Christina. She told me that $100 ticket was in there but when she questioned Harvey about the $100 ticket, he claimed it was already paid out, he also claimed that Arianna paid me. Not true & she wasn’t even there any longer. Christina told me that if she would have paid this out, she would have been $100 short. Now I don’t know who got that $100 but it certainly wasn’t us. Christina told me she would check it out & call me the next day. Never got a call. Saw her on Mon & she seemed quite uncomfortable & said the owner was supposed to call me. Again, never got a call. Tues, April 8, I sent an email through their website. It states you will receive a response in 48 hours. Guess what,...

Went here on a Saturday night at 7:45 and ordered buffalo chicken pizza and two beers For two people. The pizza is always great but this time was over cooked and a little burnt. Overall the food and beer was great but the service was not. The tables were also very sticky and made me feel uncomfortable touching the tables amidst everything going on with COVID. The waitress looked frustrated when we tried to find a table that at least had two chairs by it. They told us to sit anywhere but we had to squeeze between tables and grab another chair ourselves so we could sit. The waitress was very short with us and stopped by to take our order three times within 5 minutes to take our order. She also seemed irritated when we didn’t know what we wanted yet. Needless to say we felt very rushed. When we got our food I had asked for ranch and she came back with one cup for both of us and walked away without saying anything. She later came back to check on us and Asked if she could get us anything else. I was in the middle of talking, saying that the food was good and was about to ask for another beer when she walked away while I was Still talking. We thought she maybe was having a bad night until we noticed her talking with another couple and spending time with them in a friendly conversation. We have been to alumni club plenty of times before and have had a great experience each time, But were saddened by the experience we had this time. We have never had this waitress beforeAnd it makes it hard to...

Alumni Club is a nice addition to the downtown area, and there was obviously a lot of work and attention to detail put into its construction.

My wife and I ordered a 16" pizza which took a little more time than expected to receive. After finally being served our pizza, we immediately agreed it is the best thin crust pizza in town. Crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and a decent amount of toppings. I feel the base pricing is a little steep as a base 16" Cheese pizza starts at $16.95 which is a $2-$3 more expensive than area competitors. Our total bill was nearly $40 (after tip) for our pizza, a beer and a soda. Like I said though, it is great pizza!

Our second, and minor, complaint is the lack of proper plates. We were served with tiny plastic plates for our pizza. I'm hoping this is just a growing pain, as its a bit cheap looking for a brand new bar/pub and wasteful.

Lastly, while our server was friendly, she appeared to be a bit bewildered and frantic. This is another area I'm sure will improve with experience.

Overall, a nice place that has come growing pains. We will return to in the future as their menu expands. I'll adjust my rating after our next visit accordingly.

Edit: After two more visits, I can't say the customer service experience was any better. While friendly, I feel the staff requires better training and/or management. The menu has expanded slightly, but I can't say anything I had to eat...
