Understaffed. Came in 45 minutes early because I knew I had to process the waiver and wanted to order food for the kids so they could eat. There were quite a few kids with the family in front of us. There were 2 girls working the guest line registers. While we waited in line, I gave the kids money and told them to order their food so we could save time. They went to order food and quickly came back saying there was a sign on the food counter that asks guests to order at the main guest line for check in. At this point we had not checked in yet. After checking in and ordering food, i asked the kids to use the restroom and change their socks so that they were ready when jump time started at 4:00. I noticed that during this time, the girl that took our order at the register was still helping new customers and at this point it was about 15 minutes until jump time started. I walked up to her and asked if anyone was starting the food? She was very nice but had said that she would be the one to get the order ready... so I asked how long it would take because the kids needed to eat before jump time started which was only 15 minutes away. She said it would take about 5-10 minutes for the food and that she would start on it right after helping the customers she was helping. She said she didnt start the food order right after we placed it because she had to help the other girl that was working the register for guest line check in and it was only them 2. My complaint is that you arent finished helping your customer after they place an order and pay... you should have completed our order before helping a new customer in line. While the food ended up being done by 3:52 and the kids ate in time to start jumping at 4:00, this is still poor customer service due to being understaffed. Help the customers in line, first come, first served all the way... customers that have paid and are waiting should not have to wait because there are more customers in line behind them. Complete the order all the way next time. Poor management...
Read moreAfter COVID apparently they got new owners. They decided to take out the sliding area for the little ones and made it like an arcade area that you can only use with these digital tokens. Gets pretty confusing. And annoying that you can't just give your kids a quarter to play a game, you have to use your debit or credit card and give them points. Also they are removing the rock climbing wall which was half the fun. So all ya get is the jump and the dodge ball area. Then for some reason they have this large unused area with a couple couches and 4 tvs. Which is so unnecessary considering everybody has smart phones and you can't hear the TV's anyway, so what's the point of that? They have also turned off the water fountains due to COVID-19 and you have to ask for a cup of water if you get thirsty and hopefully somebody is there to serve it to you. Also if you order the pizza it never seems like it's cooked all the way. I'm dropping this place from a 4 star to a 3 star. Also after selling you a bundle deal you don't find out till after the fact that the climbing wall is broken and being removed. That was half the reason I bought the bundle so I felt ripped off that they weren't upfront about that fact. Oh and not to mention they have a Dippin Dots machine which is $5.00 for an ounce, of course your kids will want some and $20 later you have got 4 ounces of ice...
Read moreOur first visit to skyzone was about 3 months ago and we were pleasantly surprised to have such a nice place to take your kids to here in Merced. We ended up joining as members and have visited a lot since then, and every single time we come here it is very clean, well air conditioned, the equipment seems well maintained, my whole family loves this place and the staff. Customer service issues anywhere can really put a bad taste in your mouth, not to mention when it comes to safety concerns but time and again this place is above and beyond. There have been a time or two where there was a potential issue and they were on it right away, from the management to the ones who maintain safety at the trampolines (they do not babysit/watch your children, that is the job of parents) they all do a great job of making it a fun & safe environment. We love it & appreciate this place being in our town. Edit: I also wanted to add that for the last 3 months I’ve been temporarily disabled, and they have been accommodating and kind every time we have visited. I’ve been several other places where that was not the case, so to have such a positive experience every single time, no matter who was working, really speaks volumes about the culture there and it’s a big part of what keeps us coming back (besides...
