Arizona Gift Center — Attraction in Mesa

This store is HUGE! When you first enter the store, you are greeted with a friendly welcome. The store is the size of a large grocery store, so make sure you have at least a few hours to see everything. Even then, you still have not seen all they have. If you are looking for gems/beading/jewelry/natural gem-stone/craft supplies or any gift for anyone than this is the place. I found everything I was wanting and then some. This store is geared toward the artist, the collector, the crafter, the decorator and also to find the perfect unique gift. They literally have beads of all types and I mean rows and rows of them. Everything that you would need for making jewelry from start to finish, it's here! Tons and tons of natural gems and fossils, raw stones as well as polished stones. I have NEVER found a gem/bead store with this much selection, I had to go back within the same week because I thought it was too good to be true. Well, it is the real,deal! The prices are amazingly great, I am giddy every time I check out at the register! I used to have to drive a few hours out of town to buy my supplies and gems/stones and now, I spend the same amount I used to, only now I get 10-20 times more. And, a much better selection and quality I might add. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and always a great help. I just can't say enough about this store, it is a dream come true and well worth the drive for those that live on the west side. This place has its pros and cons. I went for the first time today and was not greeted nicely. In all fairness i didn’t realize they closed so early, but as soon as I walked in i was told i had we had 5 minutes to shop even tho we walked in 15 minutes to closing. I understand wanting to get off on time but I was not told nicely. The female employee immediately showed annoyance and attitude when we walked in. I was stoked to see the beautiful crystals this shop carried but was quickly disappointed by the employees demeanor. We shopped for 10 minutes and got in line. While i was waiting in line i was looking at the crystal pendants they had near checkout since every cashier was busy. One of the older woman yelled across the store that i needed to get in line and continued to yell across the store at other customers. However, i was the only person waiting. The man checking out my stuff didn’t know the prices and so asked another girl who also didn’t know. The spot i picked it from said 3.75 but they tried to charge me $5.99. This place has good prices for good crystals but the attitude of the employees needs to change. Not a good...

Giving this place a 2 for terrible service. I have a bad back and bad foot. Had maybe 10 items to check out. I was hurting pretty bad and just wanted to get back to my truck. It was about 4:30 when we got in line and they close at 5. The lady took forever checking us out. She just turned her back to us for quite a long time and we had no idea what she was doing. Had a few bags all from same shelf and pile but nothing was marked. No prices on shelf either. One bag she wrong up at $45 and I said I was sorry but didn't want them. She complained to us that it was almost closing time. If she hadn't taken a half hour to ring us up it wouldn't be closing time. Then after totaling up the bags of stones it came to $130. No thank you, no have a nice day, nothing. We used the cart to get to front door of store and when my friend picked up the bags one of them spilled the contents all over our cart. The lady had just tossed any loose stones in the check out bag instead of putting them in a zip lock bag like everything else. When we were picking all the stones up a guy working ran over to watch us like he thought we were stealing. I won't...
