Yesterday my boyfriend was treated with such disrespect and disregard I'll never shop at this location or donated to this location again. I purchased an oven and when preparing to load it into our vehicle, my boyfriend took a sink out and placed it to the side to make room for the oven. When done loading the stove he was going to put it back into our vehicle. An emoloyee watched my boyfriend do this and heard him. Another employee, Reid, came out to throw something in the dumpster. Reid proceeded to then see the sink and pick it up. My boyfriend approached him and told Reid that it was his personal property that he set aside to get our newly purchased stove into our vehicle. Reid laughed at my boyfriend and continued to walk towards the dumpster all the while my boyfriend is continuing to tell him its his personal property and he wanted it. Reid continue to laugh and ignored my boyfriend and threw the sink into the dumpster. When my boyfriend asked why he threw it in the dumpster and ignored his words. Reid smiled at him and sarcastically said sorry. The other emoloyee who saw my boyfriend put the sink to side acted like he didnt see or hear anything. Everything was caught on cameras and we have witnesses. Goodwill offered store credit and that was it. Store credit won't replace the sink and the amount the sink cost us. I am very disappointed in this location. I've always been treated with respect at this location, till now. I can not believe Goodwill would allow such people to represent them. Sorry to say this location lost a valued customer who spoke highly of them and always recommended this location. Never, never,...
Read moreIm totally disappointed!! One star is one too many ! I have been shopping this store for years now and I go 1-2 times a week - well this last weekend I was there and over the loud speaker it was announced that all WOMEMS JEANS WERE ON SALE FOR $4.99- until 5 pm and only that location they made my whole day -so it wasn’t 15 minutes and I went to the cashier to pay for my items and yes a pair of jeans was one of the items - so the cashier totaled up my 3 items and it came to close to $50 I was surprised and I had a coupon for 2o% off and the cashier said well my manager just told me that the jeans were not on sale for $4.99 and a refusal to take the coupon - as the line started to grow the Cashier did nothing but tell me No - no and no and it made me quite upset and I said TO VOID THE ENTIRE SALE- and I walked out - I’m not sure I will ever return to shop at any goodwill because that was horrible customer service and it’s also quite upsetting to me that the announcements are also bogus- that’s not fair and not how you treat customers - I spend a lot of time and money in this store in particular and hope this doesn’t happen to others - having owned a few retail stores my dad would have bent over backwards to make the customer happy and he would have never let any sale just walk out the door he would have made it right no...
Read moreI've written a lot of reviews for Goodwill over the years. I've deleted it all to start over and say once again, their prices have gotten completely and totally outrageous. They're charging $12-15 for a used purse. And we're not talking about a good leather purse. Some are the ones you can get new at Walmart for $12-15. And some in pretty deplorable condition. They're charging $12.49 for a stack of 4 used dinner plates. And they're leaning toward that habit again of charging the same for each category. (like when they do all shirts are one price, all pants, etc.) So most stacks of 4 plates are $12.49 even if they're plates you can get at the Dollar Store. No matter the condition. They even changed their dollar tag days to $2 dollars. And then you see them pulling out all the $2 tags on that day. I watched them pulling pink tags today on $2 pink tag day! I think that is almost unethical. To advertise a tag day and then pull them out while you watch. And then they have the audacity to announce how they're just making room for new stuff. Do they think we're stupid? Or not noticing. Right. I'm 73. Been thrifting since my teens. ...
