I have been coming to this location on SW 27th Ave. since it opened. It has consistently declined over time. My car's rear bumper is always left dirty and the actual ribbons in the drive through are very weak. The rolling dryer at the end rarely comes down to dry the cars anymore. Pathetic. Other locations are far better at cleaning my car, but because of convenience on my way home from work, I've have always visited this location. The icing on the cake was a condescending child at the boom/barrier gates who allowed 4 cars ahead of me because I was stuck behind a truck that was delayed in being cleared by the register. I specifically opened my window and asked if I should back up and switch lanes to proceed and was told no (there were no cars in the other line at the time). She and another young man allowed 2 more cars in that subsequently pulled up, before resolving the issue with the truck in front of me. When I opened my window again to complain and ask why they continued allowing cars in from the other lane instead of moving the traffic flow from the right lane to the left lane, she proceeded to sarcastically respond to me with a disrespectful and condescending tone by saying (in Spanish) "Good afternoon my heart. NOW you can go in." Needless to say, this was in fact the last time I will visit this location and because I have no other locations on my way home, I'll be canceling my monthly subscription altogether. I will not pay anyone to receive a terrible car wash and on top of that, be treated with such disregard and disrespect for my time. If management even cares, this was on Saturday, April 12th at approximately 5:00pm. The employee in question is a very young girl with a long, pin-straight, black ponytail, who speaks no English and a very young man, thin, tall with medium shaggy hair. Please take the time to properly train your employees in efficiently and effectively resolving operations issues and how to resolve conflict properly. Read moreI just left this location and had to send a review after what happened. After I got out of the automated car wash, I parked in the vacuum area and got out, and found that all the vacuums were off. The employee told me that they’re all closed because they’re closing the car wash for the night. That didn’t sit right with me, so I asked him why you would let a customer drive in and pay if you weren’t going to allow them to use the vacuum? To me, they’re taking away half the reason I’m even there after I already paid. He didn’t have an answer, he just shrugged as if to say “I don’t know that’s just what I’m told to do”
Whoever is the manager of this location (or at least this shift) is not doing a good job.
Speaking of not doing a good job, I think the top and side brushes in the machine were off when I went through the car wash, because all of the bird crap is still all over the exterior after going through it.
Update: today I received a reply from El Car Wash ownership(see below), asking me to call their customer service number to discuss this matter further. I thought it was a bit annoying to ask me to do homework for them, but ok, I figure as a company they want to improve after hearing my feedback, so I call the number. On the other line seemed a very disinterested employee…when she picked up the phone I said “hi, I was told to call this number after leaving a google review?” Her: “Oh, that’s just an auto reply.” Me: “oh, so you’re not really interested in talking to me at all then?” Her: “it’s ok, it’s just an auto reply message.” ……so I said thank you and hung up. I've never used this car wash before so they offered me a promotion and I though that it must be as good as the one that I used near my home so I decided to give it a shot and immediately I regret it. It was very disappointing. The washing experience it is lame and to make it worse the machine hits my side mirror. I'd tried to turn back around to talk to the employees but this car wash it doesn't have enough space to turn around and it was packed so I decided to leave. There's a gas station at the corner so I parked over there to check my car and it was DIRTY as well!! I am VERY surprise that a lot of people use this place. I tried to contact this place to cancel my membership over and over and no one answers so i was charged for a service that i NEVER used again!! Later that day, on the way back home, I went to the car wash near my home and started a membership with them. The quality of service of this place is something that El Car Wash can't compete with!
