I have finally sat down and written my long awaited review on this hidden gem of a place! I managed to visit during Art Basel. Located right next door to Churchill's on NE 2nd Ave, I was kind of hesitant entering with my boxer bulldog, but was welcomed by the gentleman behind the counter and was actually told that dogs were welcomed more than humans! OMG! Nothing in the world can beat a record shop that serves delicious organic coffee, sells vintage records, sometimes hosts awesome shows, and they welcome dogs?? Are you kidding me? What a CHILL VIBE!! I browsed through some of the records, and noticed that they were priced to how well they were preserved or kept. I was impressed with how they were indexed, sorted and stored, and I was more impressed with their overall selection. I will...
Read moreThereâs already plenty of reviews here, and itâs doubtful I can add anything substantive. So Iâll echo the sentiments of those who absolutely love this place and all of its amazing staff (and owner, Lolo). Iâve been coming here since it opened, and Iâll continue coming here for as long as possible. Great selection. Good prices. Incredible service. Iâm originally from a place which harbored tons of amazing independent record shops. There is nowhere near the amount of shops in Miami as we had âback home.â That said, what are here are something very special, and Iâll take quality over quantity each and every time. With this shopâŚitâs quality on every front, with the nicest, kindest people youâll likely ever meet. If youâre in the area, make it a point to stop in. Youâll be better for...
Read moreMaybe im spoiled from ny record stores but...for the main vinyl hub in miami this place is joke. Everything is set to the maximum possible price even though this is FL and every other shop in the state sells at fair prices. Youre much better off on discogs. Most of the stuff is new records, the used sections are laughable. Even the record shops in Tampa make this look bad, and that city is hell on earth. Add that this is in the ghetto and you have no reason to ever go here. I did randomly find a Nilsson record in the dollar bin, that bit of luck gets them the 2nd star.
And dont just try to walk in and sell them stuff, you need an appointment because this is an effin doctors...
