Here’s The Scoop Ice Cream & Espresso — Restaurant in Miami

Well, this is one of those unexpected experiences one can only hope for when walking into a new establishment. Especially since the place doesn't look like much from the outside. The evening time and part of town I was in didn't help my own judgment of what to expect either. I was only looking for a spot to wait for a ride, and Maps highlighted this place, and I'm glad that it did. KUDOS to Charles and Sarah for their pride and passion. They love what they do and what they serve, and it was tangible from the moment I opened the door and walked in. Greeted with enthusiasm and an eagerness to highlight their most popular flavors, I was taken to a palate journey that left me wanting more. I was left with no choice but to have an Affogato while at the store. Combined two of the flavors I tried with a delicious espresso shot poured right on top. Then, I took some "home" to continue to embrace the experience. They were so kind as to give me a larger size since, unfortunately, they were out of the medium-sized containers. Winner! Then, as I waited for my ride while enjoying my affogato dessert, Sarah was thoughtful enough to suggest she keep the rest of my purchase in the freezer while I waited. Once I was ready to go, I was offered a perfectly sized small bottle of H²O for the road. It was as though she had been doing this her whole life. Thank you once again.
