I usually have a good experience. The owner is super helpful and the blond women who works there is so nice as well. But last night when I was there with my 3 year old (bc I am a struggling single mother) I got there with my child and three big bags in tote. The women working told me come earlier next time so she can leave at 9. This was at 730. I had checked hours and it said open until 10. She proceeded as I was doing my laundry to tell me bye she was leaving … then she said 8 times 5 minutes! Over and over while pointing to her non existent watch. I responded saying that I was sorry but I have like 20 bags of dirty laundry and we don’t have access to washer or dryer.. that I’m a single mother and I just got my check right then . She didn’t care. I said can I stay here if you leave and she said no. I had one last wash in and wash switching it over at 830. She had her husband show up and they just sat and watched me. I felt so uncomfortable. Finally I said I thought u were open until ten and she scoffed. She was standing right next to me like one washer away just staring I ended up leaving with wet laundry. I was so embarrassed and felt like she treated me like I was beneath her. Change ur website if this isn’t the correct closing time. Or get...
Read moreI've had very different experiences at this laundromat depending on what day I go. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, the place is run incredibly well by one specific worker she's helpful, keeps the machines and floors clean, and the whole place just feels organized and welcoming when she’s there. For a while, I honestly thought he was the owner. However, on the other days, the difference is night and day. The place can get messy, machines aren't always checked or cleaned, and the overall vibe is a bit chaotic. Recently, a young blonde woman has been saying that she “runs the place,” but based on what I've seen, she doesn’t seem to manage it nearly as well. Things slip through the cracks, and the quality really drops when she’s in charge. It's frustrating because this could be a great laundromat all week if the standards from Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday were kept every day. Management might want to reconsider who’s really keeping the place...
Read moreNew to the area and thought I would give this laundromat a shot. Super clean and quiet ( I went on a Monday around 2pm) Various size machines and prices. You can turn on the washer and dryers with coins or card. You can use a card to activate the machines at either their kiosk at the back of the building or by scanning the QR code located on the machine itself. The folding tables are massive. Dryers get SUPER hot.
Unfortunately, several washer and dryers had "out of order" or "coins only" tags on them. I used washers 14 and 15. Washer 15 did not dispense the fabric softener into my wash. I noticed that as I added my own softener, there was someone's softener already in the corresponding compartment. After I noticed the machines fault, I alerted the employee. She ended up giving me a box of dryer sheets for free to help out.
This location is a tad bit pricier compared to Taunton laundromats that I have used for the past...
