Golden Rule Mead — Attraction in Middlebury

My husband and i were lucky enough to stumble upon golden rule mead, which was down the street from our b&b. Alexander was a pleasure and created an unforgettable experience. I picked up a bottle of their "Trend Hopper Mead" at Yankee spirits in Montpelier to try it out. I am not usually a huge fan of mead but this was incredible.

The gentle hoppy flavor and airy bubbles transitions beautifully to a light honey aftertaste. This is definitely not over sweetened and allows room to fully experience and enjoy each flavor.

I will be picking up more and am excited to try other flavors. Hopefully I will be visiting...

We both never had mead before and decided to stop. The owner lead us through an awesome tasting! We couldn’t decide what we liked best! Everything was so lovely, easy to drink, and clean! I love how they was so knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. We ended up leaving with only 5 bottles, but we should’ve bought more! They were so affordable!!
