My son started learning piano with David in 2017 and as of 2019 he is still a student. He has made great progress in learning how to read music and understand how to count beats etc. However, the following moment always stands out to me about how unique this school is and that it was the perfect choice for our son to learn music. On the 1st day of piano lessons, David asked my son "What type of piano do you want to play? Do you want to just play piano or play piano and sing?" My then 8 year old answered "play and sing?" then David said "OK, then I know exactly how to teach you to get you there." They are not just teaching rote playing of music, they are teaching the fundamentals and techniques but also fostering that love of music. This is a wonderful music studio for budding musicians, actors, and singers. I hear so many talented young boys and girls singing and playing piano, drums, and guitar while I wait during my child’s lesson. The staff and instructors are so patient and enthusiastic with the kids. It really makes me so proud and happy to see my son excited about learning music and believing in his ability to play.
