Worst customer service from the staff and the owner's son. My family and I have been buying cakes and ice cream from here for years and sadly we won't be doing business here any longer. On Tuesday night, I called to place an order for my son's birthday and decided to go the store to place the order because the lady said they were closing at 9:30pm. When I got there at 9pm with my two children (2yrs and almost 4yrs) and 9months pregnant, I noticed the lights were off in the store and saw three ladies cleaning the parlor up. I knocked on the window twice and didn't even get an acknowledgement. For this reason, I opened the window to see if they would still be able to take my order. I explained that I was the lady that had called and that I was told they were closing at 9:30pm. When one lady finally came to the window she was very rude and said I wasn't allowed to open the window. Today, I called the owner to explain what happened, because as a business owner myself, if a customer/client isn't receiving good customer service then I would want to apologize and rectify the situation. Yet, instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, the owner's son said why I hadn't rang the doorbell and I told him I hadnt seen a doorbell. I asked him why he was also being rude and that he could look into the cameras if he thought I was making things up and then he hung up on me. I'm incredibly disappointed as I was hoping to order my son's and thought I could have received better treatment from the owner's son. Clearly, I was wrong. Beware, if customer service isn't a priority here and their employees seem unhappy to be working here, then the problem runs deeper...

SMOKING - NOT CHILDREN FRIENDLY. I came here today with my family to have some ice cream. While we were eating a man sitting outside in the.eating area decided to light up a cigarette and start smoking right next to my children stroller. I had a eight month old baby sitting in my stroller exposed to the smell of cigarettes. I noticed there were smoking areas within the same eating area outside which I think is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Who wants to eat ice cream with cigarettes??? Absolutely disgusting! I went inside of the ice cream shop to speak to a manager and tell them what happened however nothing was able to be done since there aren’t actually any non-smoking signs in the eating area. It isn’t the managers fault, but it is the OWNERS. We have been coming to this ice cream shop for years now but this incident may make us find another nearby ice cream shop. I personally do not like to taste cigarette with any meal I have and I definitely don’t think my children deserve to be exposed to secondhand smoke just because somebody can’t wait to light up a cigarette .

Update* July 1st* A response to the owner below who lacks professionalism and business etiquette....you have a cigarette tray near the eating area. Even if you think that’s an okay spot, IT IS NOT. Great ice cream terrible service. I don’t recommend having nyline as a server. On my end it appeared as though she was in no rush even though I had been waiting on a long line out the door for quite some time. She stopped to text on her phone a couple times and just walked with such a slowness to her. Then I come to find out she messed up the order.so she had to remake the ice cream with such a slowness AGAIN! Although I understand it could be one of “those” days, but that doesn’t allow someone to be rude to another. When I told her that was not my order she gave me an attitude and was very unprofessional. I go to blizzard for some ice cream on a nice day to enjoy, not to get disrespected by an employee.
