I will start by saying that I’ve taken my kids to Fun In for open jump sessions (March 2022) and I’ve hosted my kids’ birthday party there (June 2022).
Positive: Fun In is a very clean, spacious facility that’s priced fairly for open jump sessions. There are age appropriate attractions for toddlers to teens. It’s in a pretty decent location, right off route 9 in Middletown. Overall, it’s a great place to take kids to play and jump, meet up with friends, etc.
Negative: We had a terrible experience hosting our kids’ birthday party here. I received a very professional phone call the day before the party confirming all the details and assuring me that our party host would be handling the entire event so that we could enjoy our guests. That’s where the great customer service ends. Upon arriving to Fun In for our party the next day, we checked in at the front desk and get the kids off and jumping with some of the party guests that have already arrived.
Our party host greets up and shows us to our room. After confirming that we didn’t need any help decorating (we only brought table cloths and balloons), she says she needs to finish cleaning up another party’s room but will be “all ours” by the time the kids are called into the room for pizza and cake. That could not have been further from the truth. Here’s a rundown of the issues we had:
Party host disappeared entirely. I had to go searching for her because there were no beverages for the kids in the room when they were told to stop jumping and go to the party room. Clearly zero communication and coordination between the front desk staff who paged the kids, and the party host.
10 minutes after tracking down party host, she wheels in a cart of ROOM TEMPERATURE bottles water, Sunny D and Gatorade and passes them out to our kids and their guests. For anyone who is wondering, room temperature Sunny D and Gatorade are absolutely disgusting.
The temperature in the party room was 80 degrees. Kids were already hot and sweaty from jumping. We had to ask three times for the air conditioning to be turned on/adjusted. I was “okayed” twice by the front desk staff and the third time I was told (by a different staff member who came up to the room) that it’s up to the owners to decide if it’s hot enough, to adjust the air conditioning and they can’t be disturbed right now. Around 4:40 we felt the AC kick on and the room was finally comfortable. However, by that time the party was ending at 4:45 so it did not matter.
We were given a stack of 10 plates for pizza and a small pile of napkins for a party of 20 kids and 15ish adults. Clearly this was not sufficient. When I couldn’t locate our party host for more supplies (after running all around the facility), I got fed up and opened up every door I saw, eventually coming across the supply room. I grabbed everything I needed (plates, napkins) for my party. I had to do the same thing when it was time to cut and serve the cake, too as the host was still missing. 20 minutes later, she appears with a cart of ice cream cups to serve to the kids with cake, as if nothing is wrong.
The pizza is from Dominos. For $29.99 per child, I expected better. Shame on me for not asking where the pizza is brought in from.
My seven year old daughter told me that our party host had a large sticker on her shirt that said “I hate you all”. Not sure how she even saw this since the host was barely present. But another parent confirmed it to be true. While I get the humor, it’s not appropriate or professional for an employee to be hosting a kid’s birthday party with a message like that on her shirt. Fun In should train their staff better and/or enforce a dress code.
In summary, I would not host another party here nor would I recommend it to a friend. Our party host was nonexistent, the handling of the air conditioner issue was poor and serving room temperature drinks is unacceptable and embarrassing. Fun In should take notes from Spare Time in Bristol on how to train party hosts, manage staff and meet customer...

The staff was underwhelmed to be there, providing nothing in the way of excitment or even safety information for the kids. The high jump area (area with walls 4"/6"/8"/10" feet high with stronger trampolines) wasn't managed at all, with the exception of a sign that said not to jump from the "High Wall".
This sign was also disregarded for the entire 1.5 hrs we were there, and no staff intervened. This actually didn't bother me, but it speaks to how mismanaged they are.
We drove almost an hour to get here, paid $98 for a 1.5 hr jump admission (2 adults, one kid, one toddler), and within 15 minutes we felt like we were being swindled. Everything was in disrepair, everything felt filthy, or just plain underwhelming. There are MANY other competitors in the state that deserve your money, and will give you fair compensation for that price.
It was absolutely ridiculous....

This package comes with 4 pizzas and beverages. Extremely overpriced for 4 overcooked Domino's pizzas. We were given 5 bottles of water, and an 8 pack of juice boxes-- clearly not enough to accommodate the number of children we made the reservation for. We had to request more beverages multiple times. We were placed in a tiny party room that did not fit our party size. Our party host was MIA the majority of the time and we had difficult time tracking him down throughout the party. We usually tip really well (20%+) but were so disappointed with the service we received, we didn't leave a tip. Approx. 25min before our reservation was to end, our party host magically appeared to advise that we had 3 minutes to pack our stuff and leave. The kids hadn't finished eating yet. We will be taking our business elsewhere in the future. Our experience was terrible and extremely underwhelming. Don't waste your time...
