Hoffer Park — Attraction in Middletown

Nice place to play. Plenty of room. Just sucks when you have a family ruining it for everyone else. Sad when you have a 3 year old talking to 1 and 2 year olds saying “Tell us your age before we push you.” Yes, there were other mothers who heard it. Had a naked except for pants child running around but the parents didn’t see a problem with it. Father was on his phone the entire time, mother didn’t pay attention but of course when you try to set her 3 year old bully in place by offering the other slide or telling her to be nice, you see why she’s becoming a bully. I was very saddened to watch the castle park my deceased family help build get torn down.. Especially right after i moved back in town w/my kids... same with the movie theater and pool... i felt robbed!- a park I played at when I was an adolescent. Thankfully they rebuilt the park and it looks wonderful... Now my babies have a productive place to play hopefully it remains clean safe & doesn't get populated w/negativity. Wonderful Park since the rebuild it is so much nicer and kid-friendly the old park was all wood and metal and now the park has cameras and better lighting so that people aren't leaving trash or doing Shady things. I remember when I was still living a block away from that Park when it was the old wooden Park I would go over there and take my kids over and there was trash and even condoms laying around the next day and I would call the borough and let them know about the shadiness going on but the cameras did not work then so I love...
