I like this Karns. It is extremely dated, but it's part of the charm. I frequent the Hershey one as I work next door, but this one is closer to my house. It has everything you need despite the size and age!
I find their prices comparable if not better than the competition, and their own store generic, Everyday Essentials, has great quality items.
The deli and meat department are wonderful. I love their fresh fried chicken and macaroni and cheese, and they have some of the best pre-made Italian subs, strombolis, and soups. LOVE their food!
I hope that they do in the future modernize a bit, maybe with some self-checkouts, or hey, at least update the interior just a little. Otherwise,...

Never buy anything from their deli, hot bar, salad bar, pre-packaged foods/desserts... basically anything they touched. Every time I've bought something that was touched by a Karns employee there has been something wrong. Hair, eyelashes, bugs, rubber bands and plenty of other disgusting finds.
