Escape Utah Midvale- Castle of Chaos Escape Rooms — Attraction in Midvale

I'm very torn here. We did the Dragon's Quest room with high expectations. The gameplay and story were great and the room clearly has high potential. The unfortunate thing is that 3 core puzzles didn't work properly as confirmed during the walkthrough. It was clear that the room wasn't reset properly prior to us going in as multiple things that should've been closed and locked, weren't. Also there was several major components of one puzzle just missing. During the walkthrough we were told where they should've been but the employee just said that she didn't know where they went to. Overall we had fun, but its disappointing that such a well designed and built room didn't function properly and that it didn't seem to matter to the staff at all. Even though this has great effects and good puzzles, I was disappointed in the main element - the staff. Unfortunately this alone is enough to have me book elsewhere...

Overall a fun escape room if I was given the time to use it. Our game master kicked us out after 35 minutes to accommodate the group after us. We reserved the 8:15 game. She asked that we check in at 8:30 as she was running behind and wanted to give the group before us enough time to finish. We showed up at 8:15 to sign waivers and pay. The group finished and left at 8:30. She asked for 10 minutes to reset the room. She let us in at 8:40. we got two notices at 15 minutes in and 30 minutes in before she removed us at 35 minutes. We were asking for clues at this time and right after we got a clue she was in the room telling us our time was over. It was 9:15 when we left the room. Definitely a place to go check for escape rooms. I did the room themed Fahrenheit 451, which is an amazing room with a lot of deal to it. It's a great room for at least a group of four and bookworms, not only was the themed Fahrenheit 451, but used other dystopia books mixed into the puzzles. The rooms are crafted so nicely and work so well with the puzzles. The environment was definitely set for the themes of the rooms. Highly recommend checking...
